"The property is a little dated but it is good value and the location and grounds are fantastic with an easy 5-min walk to the beach and less than 10-mins to the town centre which has supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. The staff are helpful and the food is great and good value. "

"The property was beautiful, hillside with great views. Walking to your room may be a challenge as it is very steep however they do offer shuttles up to your residence. The beach is calm, beautiful with great waters. The restaurants on the property are very expensive with sucky food, no real flavor, no good quality service even though they say it’s “luxury”. This property is not a luxury property even though they charge like one. The pillows in our room were stained and so were the towels. A bit disappointed with this property. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Calabash Resort. The beach was very private, well equipped with breathtaking views. We spent some time at the infinity pool with swim up bar where friendly and helpful staff were always ready to serve you a drink or assist with lunch menu. The most memorable portion was the care and attention to detail by the owner and the team - starting with white linen dinner service and elegant life music entertainment, finishing booking of our excursions and transportation. Highly recommend if you are looking for relaxing and peaceful getaway! The only item to be aware is a fair number of stairs connecting main building and the beach area. It was a non issue for my husband and I, but his elderly parents needed a little break here and there.... "
