The accommodation is very tasteful and clean. A simple but good breakfast and friendly, honest and helpful staff make this hotel a tip for all those who are not satisfied with mediocrity. Unfortunately, it is not completely quiet, especially at weekends there is a lot of partying in the streets until late at night.

Wonderful hotel

The stay at Miss Blanche was a wonderful experience. A beautiful room with a great taste in the design. It had a lot of space and was really what we needed after a long day walking in the beautiful town of Groningen. The kids had plenty of room to play and the breakfast was absolutely lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Since the hotel is really in the inner town, it is a bit noisy at nights. Plus, there was no air condition, so we tried to sleep with open windows, thus heard the party people go by. However, the location is perfect. Nice rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff!

Property was very clean with kind and helpful staff who helped carry our heavy luggage up the stairs and even ran our dishes in the dishwasher for us. Breakfast service was great with many options. It was a little hard to sleep on hot nights (visited in August) since the neighborhood was too noisy to keep the windows open, but I guess that is what happens when you choose a convenient city center location sometimes. The area was beautiful and very walkable, just steps to the famous Vismarkt, so I can't complain.

Would definitely stay here again

We requested early check in the day before arrival and was told it would be no problem. Upon arrival the room wasn’t ready, but instead of making us wait, we got upgraded to a bigger room - that was really appreciated and such a great service! The room was very spacious, clean and beautiful. The bed was great, however the sleeping couch was pretty uncomfortable to sleep on. But all in all we really liked this hotel and would book it again anytime

We were not aware that there was no elevator and only a steap staicase, which was inconvenient considering our heavy luggage. Our double room was too small for two people with three large suitcases. On arrival, the hosts acknowledged that the room was very room, but other than polite contrition, they didn't make any effort to compensate for this inconvenience in more concrete terms. The breakfast was not good value for money: a comprably narrow range of options. The staff apprentice who served us was very kind and considerate, but not up to the job (yet) to the job. All things considered, despite the noticeable efforts on the part of the hosts to make us feel welcome and happy, I wouldn't consider this place again.
