"Pros: Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung von Tine und Klaus und hatten zudem großes Glück mit dem herrlichen Spätsommerwetter. "Stayed for a tennis tournament over a weekend. The staff were very friendly and everyone was helpful to speak English for us. The 1 bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. As per the property listing, there was no air conditioning. I would recommend asking for a room on an upper floor if you would like to leave the windows/doors open at night. Though the town and area seemed very safe. Plenty of parking, kitchenette was convenient for us. We would stay again and recommend."

Holiday Inn Nürnberg City Centre by IHG

8/10 Good

"Everything was very nice except these few unique European things - not all European things are bad, many are great, but these irritate this American and most of the friends that traveled with us. Before I list the minor issues, I will repeat the staff were great; very friendly and helpful. The place was clean. We felt welcome and safe. Great job everyone! There was no sheet, just a quilt in a linen bag. I get it, the bag mean washing one thing (just a sheet/bag) versus two things (sheet/bag and quilt). However, there is only one layer to pull on or throw off. That makes for a restless night's sleep. There is no control of temperature. Yes, there is a thermostat on the wall, but it does nothing. The room was not unbearable, but it was uncomfortably warm. Lastly, the coffee situation is a pet peeve. I love espresso, even more than American coffee. That said, I drink a lot of American coffee. Another cup or 2 of espresso, or an Americano, would be nice."

10/10 Excellent

"The breakfast was excellent, a well staffed and very well maintained buffet. The rooms were well furnished and daily cleaned. The staff was friendly and professional. The property is in close proximity to the subway station. Should we return to Nuernberg, we will stay there again."
