"Truly enjoyed everything about this home for our stay in the Finger Lakes. The home is new, modern, immaculate, and beautifully furnished inside and out. All the amenities you could want or need were available.The location was lush with both forest and lake views. Easy to get to wineries, hikes, museums, small towns, etc. from Hector. Enjoyed several of the restaurants nearby as well. Definitely would return and stay at this home for another visit to this beautiful area of New York! "

"The place is so comfortable, clean and cozy. So close to the lake, wineries and not to far from the city of Watkins Glen. We enjoyed the fire pit at the back of the house after our busy day out. We spent most of the evenings making s’mores and stargazing with the enchanting fireflies that glows around us."

"Great location. The house is lovely. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need as far as cookware and utensils etc....We wanted to have a campfire, but didn't realize we'd have to carry wood down 106 stairs to the pit multiple times in order to have enough for the evening. Would suggest putting a gas fire pit on the main deck by the dining area. Needless to say we never had a campfire. "
