Staff were friendly and helpful. Room nice, and breakfast was good. Would stay again.

All good

This property was pretty much all that we needed for our stay. Everything about it was perfect for us. The room was exceptionally clean as were the public areas. From the moment of checking in until we left the whole visit was perfect. The person at reception informed us that they had to only recently taken over the property and it was obvious that they are doing some fantastic upgrading work to the rooms as well as the public areas. It is a lovely venue and I would highly recommend it.

Very close to the Scottish border

We had an amazing stay here, dinner was delicious the night before

Wonderful B+B. Very comfortable room, warm and friendly hosts and a delicious homecooked breakfast! Sad I only got to stay 1 night!

Great host who aimed to make our stay lovely. Breaky was great. Comfortable and clean and spacious. Only downside was we had a hall of a time finding it .. not on the car navigation system ..and it's not in lockerbie which my search engine said. Which turns out was a good thing... lockerbie stunk. A wine and meet the local was great for an overseas travelling family.

Great stay, everyone was friendly and always had a smile. Room couldn't have been better. Gardens lovely. Would reccomend to everyone whether fora wedding orjust overnight.

It was lovely quiet hotel. Beautiful views from the dining room. Our room had no view Lovely comfortable bed and pilllows. Lovely breakfast.

Caron was a friendly and hospitable host, who made our stay very enjoyable. We were able to park easily on our arrival. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable and the breakfast was a great start to a travelling day.

We found the property quirky but in the best way possible great location.

Quaint little Rural pub, staff were wonderful, the rooms and the pub were clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. Would give it 6 stars if I could.

What a wonderful hotel is the Halston. Just a short walk from the station and easy walking to the Castle, Cathedral and city centre. It was so lovely to have an apartment at a reasonable price with the extra space of a lounge area and a kitchen with a fridge! Not common in the UK.. the included cookies and crumpets were very much appreciated. The staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant

Amazing accomodation. Great breakfast as well. Worth a stay.
