Great place - amazing views
We had a brilliant week Staff are superb Get a ski locker up under the bubble when buying ski passes - saves carrying skis every morning, especially if you are with small children.

WOW!! Just fantastic
We cannot rate the service and this hotel high enough. Everything from check in through to breakfast the next morning was just top class. The room was stylish and very comfortable, let alone the view from the balcony; the sunset and sunrise just stunning. There is a spa to relax in, and the food was just excellent. All the staff were friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely return

The hotel is located at the top of the Pila mountain, above the Aosta town. It is within the Pila ski resort area. Beautiful view of the valley as well as the Aosta town

Beautiful surroundings. As we were only on a one night stopover we didn't pay extra for a room with a mountain view, but if you were staying longer it would be worth it. Had dinner and breakfast at the hotel both of which were okay.

Great staff, location and first class service. We had a great stay at this hotel. The management was directly involved with the service.Breakfast was excellent too. This hotel was wonderful. although the weather was working against us a bit, we had a great time in Pila. When the clouds finally cleared it turned out we had an amazing view of the Mont Blanc from our room! The staff at the hotel was really nice and helpful. Would stay here again for sure!

Struttura veramente ben tenuta ed organizzata in modo eccellente dopo il problema del COVID-19. Non avevamo grandi pretese sia per la durata del soggiorno che per il motivo del viaggio (passeggiate e relax). La posizione però ci è piaciuta molto: tranquilla e vicino ai sentieri che abbiamo deciso di affrontare. L'unica sera che ci siamo fermati a cena siamo rimasti molto contenti sia per il prezzo che per la qualità del cibo.

L'hôtel est très bien. Petit déjeuner correct, Spa très agréable et le personnel très sympa. Dommage que notre chambre, située juste en-dessus de la salle à manger était aussi mal insonorisée.

Very nice hotel
We stayed four nights at Hotel La Chance in a junior suite with our teenage daughter. The room was very nice, with a fantastic view of the mountains, a balcony, a nice bathroom and ample closet space. We did not experience much noise from the adjacent rooms. The hotel has a room to store skis and boots. This works well, however the walk to the lifts - even if not long - is quite steep and hard if you walk in boots and carry your skis. We instead left the skis overnight at the rental shop, and went by own car to the large parking area by the lifts every morning. It is a 3-minute drive. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was very fine. The hotel has a spa, which is supposed to be good. We did unfortunately not find the time to try it. On our last day, we checked out in the morning and came back for our luggage in the afternoon. We were offered to shower and change in the spa's changing rooms. They were nice, bright and clean. The bar in the reception area was beautiful, made out of different types of wood. The selections was great. The hotel, and the entire Pila skiing area, is a quiet and nice place.

Cet hôtel propose tout le confort pour un séjour à la montagne, tout est structuré et organisé de façon à passer un bon séjour en famille. Le personnel est agréable et prêt à vous aider ou à vous faire découvrir des spécialités locales. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée était très propre, grande avec un balcon.

Super hôtel avec vu sur le mont blanc, grand espace de verdure plat devant l'FVtel. personnel accueillant et agréable. dommage de ne pas avoir pu manger sur la terrasse le soir ou le matin malgré une température adaptée. Literie un peu légère en terme de confort mais réservé cet hôtel qui est très agréable. FV

Splendido hotel con vista sul Monte Bianco.
Albergo molto bello in splendida posizione, a due passi dai sentieri escursionistici e dalla seggiovia. Il personale è gentile e molto disponibile per ogni esigenza. La stanza molto grande e comoda.

Abbiamo soggiornato per l'ultimo week end di stagione. Tutto il personale e' stato gentile ed accogliente, pulizia ottima. Cena e colazione veramente di buon livello sia come qualita' che come quantita'. Ad esempio la colazione con 7/8 tipi differenti di torte e anche le marmellate tutte fatte in casa. Materia prima molto spesso locale. Grande scelta di vini anche questi soprattutto valdostani. Bellissimo giardino con vista sulla valle. Non abbiamo visitato interamente la spa, solo la vasca idromassaggio (molto grande, per 4/5 persone) Camere pulite e ambiente nel complesso elegante e confortevole.

Great hotel for weekend relax!
We stayed for 3 nights in January and we are very pleased with our weekend. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the hotel atmosphere was relaxing. The free entrance to the spa was definitely a perk as well as the "tapas" that came with every beer order. No problem walking to and from the ski lift, there is a short cut and it will take you 4 min to walk. We absolutely recommend to stay here!

Bella esperienza con gestori dell'hotel molto gentili e disponibili.La spa è molto funzionale, completa e pulita con biscottini, frutta e bevande gratuite.Meravigliosa l'enorme vasca idromassaggio. Se devo fare il pignolo suggerirei di aggiungere al menu del ristorante a prezzo fisso di euro 25,00 un bicchiere di vino in più'( onestamente mangiare con un bicchiere solo fornito è limitativo per i sensi). Esperienza che consiglio a tutti con entusiasmo!!!

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour une étape (il situé non loin d'Aoste) et étions en famille.Le site est très beau (montagnes et nature) et très calme et l'hôtel semble pratiquement neuf. L'acceuil et le service sont chaleureux, les chambres impeccables et la literie très confortable. C'est un endroit où nous retournerions volontiers pour un séjour plus long.

La nostra camera era un po' piccola nonostante fosse una superior ma la vista splendida e i servizi dell'hotel hanno conpensato la cosa. La Spa e' a pagamento la sera ma ne vale la pena in quanto abbastanza grande, con vista ed equipaggiata di tutto.Anche del kit accappatoio e ciabattine e la sala relax in legno, dove offrono i pasticcini, ottima merenda dopo lo sci. Bar con aperitivo a buffet da provare. Mi è piaciuta molto la sala con divani, libreria e camino arredata con gusto e funzionale. Un po' strano il menù a la carte del ristorante ma almeno non è la solita polenta. Personale gentile e professionale.

Die Bilder entsprechen der Tatsache. Ca. 8 Gehminuten vom Skilift (Bergauf mit Skistiefel). Tolle Küche, nettes Personal. Achtung das Restaurant ist unglaublich kalt gefühlte 18 - 20 Grad ( Morgens und Abends )nach 30 Minuten beginnt man unweigerlich zu frieren.

Relativ neues Hotel im Skigebiet (1800 MüM) mit schönen Zimmern. Im Badezimmer fehlen jedoch Kleinigkeiten wie z.B. Ablagemöglichkeit für Duschmittel in der Dusche. Der Wellnessbereich ist sehr schön und das Panorama umwerfend, das Frühstücksbuffet durchschnittlich.

Ottimo il ristorante, bella la Spa
Abbiamo trascorso quattro giorni magnifici. Dopo lo sci è stato rilassante poter usufruire della Spa. Consiglio a tutti di cenare presso il ristorante dell'hotel per provare la minestra di farro, latte e castagne. Sublime!!! Anche le pere in gabbia sono una vera prelibatezza.

Hotel La Chance in Pila ist im Sommer etwas abgelegen und im Winter mittendrin
Das Hotel liegt mitten im Wintersportort Pila. Wir waren aber als Wanderer im Sommer dort. Wir führten viele superschöne Wanderungen im Aostatal durch und waren vorher über die Gegebenheiten vor Ort qua Internet und Literatur gut informiert. Daher wußten wir von der doch im Sommer etwas abgelegenen Lage des Ortes Pila (25 Autominuten bis Aosta bergab im Hellen, 35 Autominuten zurück von Aosta am Abend) und den weiten Anfahrten zu den interessanten Wanderrouten (tgl. 40 - 65 km einfache Strecke). Das Aostatal ist eben kein kleines Wandertal sondern eine eigene ital. Region (vgl. dtsch. Bundesland). Wir haben uns aber bewusst für dieses Hotel entschieden, weil man für die hier gebotene Leistung unten im Tal weitaus höhere Preise zahlt und wir sind nicht enttäuscht worden. Wir hatten Zimmer mit Frühstück. Beides war ganz klasse. Die Einrichtung war neuwertig, das Bett (Matraze) schön hart und nicht durchgelegen, man schlief himmlich gut, es war dort abends und nachts extrem ruhig. Das Bad war schön, neu und zweckmäßig. Es gab ein für meine Erfahrungen in ital. Hotels sehr gutes Frühstück mit frischen Brötchen, Brot, Toastbrot, div. Wurst, Marmelade, Käse, Müsli, Früchten, Joughurt, gutem Kaffee, Tee, Milch etc. eben alles was das Herz begehrt. Bedienung und Rezeption waren sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Auf den Zimmern gab es Kabel-LAN-Internet mit 0,3 Mbit/s, der schöne Flach TV zeigte aber nur ital. Sender. Urlauber aus Deutschland fast keine - verstehe ich nicht

ha tutte le comodità che si puo richiedere
siamo rimasti contentissimi dell'albergo e del luogo in generale...lalbergo è situato vicino alle piste da scii (in macchna 2 minuti e raggiungibili anche a piedi), all'interno dell'albergo c'è tutto cio che una persona puo desiderare, bagno turco, sauna docce emozionali e un grande idromassaggio...anche le massaggiatrici sono bravssime...e per finire hanno uno chef bravissimo cheogni sera ti propone piatti gustosissimi e anche belli da vedere...insomma favoloso...in piu è anche molto pulito e organizzato..andateci non ve ne pentirete.
