"Quick, polite check in, with good review of parking and policies, led to great stay. Ideal location on waterfront with fantastic views of river, Boldt Castle and many other islands. Right next to Uncle Sam Boat Tours/taxi to Boldt (highly recommend) and Blu Anchor bar/grill (good food and drink). Easy walk up James St to shops and more "pitstops". Note: Alex Bay is a summer season tour town. Many bars, restaurants close down by late Sept. Room was clean, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again."
"We had an amazing time at the house! Stunning view and great sunsets over the St. Lawrence. We kayaked in the protected bay and made it out to a couple of nearby islands. We took a tour of two island castles, jaunted over to Canada for the day, hiked in the Thousand Islands State Park, and swam at the sandy beach at Grass Point State Park (with shorty wetsuits). An amazing vacation to close out the summer! Nearby towns of Clayton and Alexandria Bay were cute as well."
Thousand Islands cottage on the beautiful St. Lawrence River, marina included
10/10 Excellent
"What an absolutely wonderful place!…. The cottage is small and is perfect for a couple or a small family. The views are incredible and the outdoor access is amazing. the owners have a row of Adirondack chairs right along the beach to sit and watch the ships go by ,watch the sunset, and enjoy water activities like swimming, boating, kayaking, and fishing. Downtown Clayton is absolutely picturesque along the water and it’s about a seven minute drive from the cottage. Alexandria Bay is less than 15 minutes away. tons of boat tours are available to explore the area and are very reasonably priced. The owners are so friendly and accommodating and will do everything to make your stay wonderfulwe have already booked our trip there for next year!"
