We were a family of 10 and had plenty of room. The pictures dont do the space available any justice. Cabin was clean, spacious and close to skiing. Game room was perfect for the kids and adults!
This cabin is nicer than in the pictures. Very Comfortable, great views. Would have been a 5 star, except that Toilet Paper and Dish washer detergent was not stocked.
This property is a wonderful space for a multi-night, mullti-generation family gathering. The combined great room of the kitchen, dining room area and living room is a up and down wonderful space to gather for meals and for relaxing after a busy day. The wide front porch is our favorite space. The kids loved running back and forth, and the adults enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning and then adult beverages in the evening, where we watched the elk and deer gather in the meadow by the river. We have stayed at the cabin previously, and will return again!

Convenient to Sunrise Ski Resort
Beautiful setting and very convenient to Sunrise Ski Resort. It’s a very spacious home accommodating our 2 families totaling 10 people perfectly.
Some new mattresses are definitely needed though!
Great amount of room for everyone. All 6 of us were very comfortable. Great water pressure and a very good tasting well. (With some other places in the area, that hasn't been the case) LOTS of kitchen items! We like to cook. Really enjoyed the front porch. Hummingbirds in the morning and deer and elk walking by in the evening. The 6 year old thought it was magical. None of us wanted to leave.
Perfect cabin, in a great location, for our 2-family getaway. Lots of space (indoor and outdoor), amenities and within walking distance to the creek and restaurants. Allowed for a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor activities for our young video game enthusiasts. We would not hesitate to return.

Great location and picturesque!
First time we stayed at Sargent's Hacienda over President's Day weekend. Overall the place was great, plenty of room (5 bedrooms), the master is en suite and has its own fireplace. Kitchen has big dining table and living room is plenty big with 3 couches. The separate cabin aka gameroom is aweome for those gamers that like to make noise and keep it seperate from the house. Love the huge front porch with swing and walking distance from Molly Butler's too. My only wish is that it was stocked with dishwasher detergent and kleenex, otherwise a great time had by all!
The property was great. The only problem was there was no gas in the grill and the stove was not functioning well. This made our dinners challenging. The management didn't seem to think it was a big deal but for us it was. They did provide a propane tank the next day but by then it was a little late to salvage what we thought would be a wonderful family dinner.

Family Time
My family and I love our special memories we have made for the last 8 years in Greer. We have always stayed at the Hacienda and will continue to do so. Jay is always available to us and always makes sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. You will not find a better man. We go to Greer for 2 weeks to relax and spend quality time with our Grandkids. Plenty of fishing, eating, games, drinking and lots of talking and story telling. We love the rain, the weather is beautiful. The cabin is like our own, everything you need is there, just bring a change of clothes and food. The deer our in your back yard, the kids are always excited to see them. We are comfortable in letting our kids run all over the big yard, and ride their bikes up and down the private road. Hacienda is our favorite vacation spot and we always return. Jay also makes our stay special. I would recommend to all. Best place to take your Grandkids, teach them to fish and to love the outdoors.

Family memories are made here!
My family has been coming to this cabin for about 15 years now. All 3 of our boys consider it our "second home". We bring along other family members, friends, and the dog. The cabin is equipped with everything we need, we just bring a lot of food. The location is wonderful because you are in the heart of Greer, but have the large buffering open area in front of it. The game room out back is so great for the kids, they have their own space but are so close. You can walk to anyplace you want to go in Greer from this cabin, restaurants, stores, and the end of the road is close and one of the most beautiful places in Greer.
Every single time we have been there the owner has called us to make sure everything is OK (which it always is) and asks us how to improve the property. He has made upgrades every year also, making sure everything is up to date. It isn't a fancy cabin, but one you feel right at home in.
We have recommended this cabin to many friends and they have loved it as much as we do. There have been a few times the cabin was not available when we were looking and we have booked elsewhere and been sorry every time. The last time we decided if we couldn't stay there, we just wouldn't go and wait til we could get back to "our cabin".
I highly recommend this cabin for anyone wanting to have a great family vacation and make lifelong family memories.
good cabin but owner of the property needs to get the heater fixed. it snowed on us and the heater did not work. then when we asked the property manager for wood, it was $10 a bundle???? the maintenance guy when he brought the wood said they werent going to charge us the wood. Still waiting for the refund...... everything else in the accomadations were great.
We enjoyed our trip & had such peace of mind throughout the whole process. From booking the trip to our entire stay & accommodations. Recommending to everyone!
A Fun Winter Get Away in a Picturesque small mountain town
We had a great time at this place and the management was responsive. It's not a fancy place but was great for us with the kids and grandkids. We played in the snow and went sledding and skiing . It snowed more than a foot one night and they had no snow shovels. We were told when we called that they don't provide them as they might walk away. That seems ridiculous as so could the toaster and the silverware. They called a plow for us which was super nice, but if you rent in the winter, bring your own shovel. We brought lots of wood and used the fireplace a lot. They provide one day or so worth of wood. The game room is rustic and heated with wood. The yard was big enough for the kids to run around and play in. The design is a bit chopped up. You can tell there were a few additions added over the years. It was nice to have a laundry machine. They don't supply a lot of soap but we went to the office and they gladly supplies us with more. We would stay there again. We had a great time.
we did not have any kitchen towels or dish cloths. I called and 1 towel was delivered. I feel like the bed linens should be replaced. Oher than that we had a great time.
There was plenty of room for 11 of us. We enjoyed spending each night sitting around the large living room together. There was somewhat weird handling/communication in terms of us checking in late. In terms of the house, the only things we noticed were that there were very few logs to build a fire (only about 4 logs in total for our entire weekend stay), and it was colder in some areas of the house as if the heat went out there. The game room also didn't have much in it besides the foosball and pool table, but we didn't go in there anyways so it wasn't a big deal. Overall a nice big house with enough supplies for a large group and an easy drive to the ski park! Thank you!
