"We absolutely loved our stay at tranquility, we wanted to take the dog somewhere nice and quiet because she can be quite reactive and this was just the place! Hosts were amazing! Location was perfect. We will definitely be back. Cottage has everything you need. The dog also approved as she has never been so quiet!"

"Beautiful characterful home , tastefully furnished and warm . With a well equipped kitchen Good location with lovely grounds and parking for 2 vehicles . Quirky doors and sloping floors added to the charm . The steep stairs may be an issue to anyone with mobility issues We would definitely stay here again 🙂"

"We needed a place close to Stoke for an event we were all attending with friends. This place was perfect for the 6 of us that stayed there. The hours is very large, with a large kitchen and all amenities. We did not use the TV, so unsure of that function and options. It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms. There is a large fenced back yard where kids could play."

"An awesome experience with fantastic hosts. We will certainly be back to stay at Hippo’s rest on our next visit to the UK. Loved the cottage and amenities, the village life experience with warm-hearted neighbours who were careful not to intrude, but also very welcoming as a community. Lots to see and do with plenty of pamphlets and information. We felt right at home and had such a good experience we extended our holiday by a week, very lucky they had it available!
