It is located in a great spot, but the property needs work. A/C was dripping a lot of water (not cooling much either) and the staff just brought me old towels, no maintenance staff came to check it. And for the love of all free breakfasts, please improve the quality and taste! It hasn't changed in 20 years! But I am not just complaining, it was inexpensive and very convenient.

I did not stay at this hotel in Greenville Texas.I had made reservation for hotel in Greenville ALABAMA. When I booked it online there was no indication of what state it was in. When I arrived at hotel in Greenville ALABAMA I was told by front desk manager that they did not have record of my reservation. She researched and found that reservation was for Greenville TEXAS. I want a refund of $134.47. Thank you

Holiday Inn Work Retreat
Rooms were clean and modern. The breakfast was better than other hotels due to you offering low calorie alternatives - egg white omelets and turkey sausages, not just pork. Only issues, pillows were not comfortable, too soft, I slept with head on mattress instead. Tv remote needed new batteries and front desk overnight rep. was unable to get batteries so remote would work.

The first room smelled like meldew and was very dirty. The second room seemed ok until the morning when we found a cockroach on a pillow that was laying on the floor.

Toilet Seat was shaking/moving when you sat on it. it was missing the screws those hold it to ground. Rust was visible on the bolts coming out of floor.

I'm not sure if it is just me, but over the course of a year, it seems as though the Holiday Inn Express quality as a whole is diminishing. The rooms look run down and not well maintained. I will be moving my membership over to the Hilton from now on.

I booked this hotel because it was pet friendly. The web site indicated there were no pet fees, that's why I chose this property. When I checked in, I was surprised to be slapped with $50 fees for my two small dogs--for just one night. When I protested, the front desk clerk simply did not respond--as if I hadn't said anything. That brought the bill to $200 for one night in a shabby room. I'll never stay at at Holiday Inn again.
