Rooms were very dated. Needs some work. Other areas of hotel have been updated. They may be getting to rooms next. Air condition in elevator and on 2nd floor did not exist. Had to change rooms because air didnt work in first room. Staff was very accomodating.

Had to switch rooms on first night of 2 night stay, wardrobe was infested with roaches. Pool was a disgusting shade of green. Front desk staff was very helpful and courteous, but accommodations were awful, outdated, and dirty. My son and I had to beat all of our clothes out for an hour after room change to make sure we had no roaches in our items.

Room was spacious and very clean. Beds are unbelievably comfortable. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Plenty of food options in the area.

The condition of the hotel did not reflect the pictures online. Overall condition was terrible and dirty. Elevator was dirty and room had a musty smell. Bathroom tile was moldy in the shower and floor. Door to the bathroom dragged on the floor and was difficult to close. We only stayed because it was late and we left early the next morning even though we booked a second night. Hotels. Com charged me higher rate than the hotels rates so I won’t be booking through you again.staff at hotel we’re nice and apologetic about the condition of the room.

This property is in an area with a lot of stores and dining options. The front desk staff were great. I have two complaints: 1. All of the hot food items offered for breakfast had pork, outside of using the pancake machine. 2. The rooms had sheer curtains. No blackout or privacy curtains. With daughters, I had to move my room from the first floor and still did not feel we had privacy.

We stayed here while attending open house at HPU. Room was large, updated and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Short drive to the campus. Highly recommend and will stay again.

staff had a lousy attitude. wasn't as clean as i would expect. asked for a quiet room when made reservations and when i checked in. kids running halls./and some in room next to mine making all kind of noise. i left didn't stay the night, no willingness on part of staff to help

They have Bug Infestation
We got there about 430-5pm. They did say they had, had a problem with stink bugs but pest control had been to the property to take care of the problem. I know what stink bugs are. I figured if they had sprayed it would be fine & there would not be any. However, by 7pm they started coming in from the windows. Crawling on the walls. Crawling on the ceilings. Then to the bed and down the wall. There was no way we were going to sleep there. We checked out immediately & went to Fairfield Inn in Greensboro NC. I will NEVER go back to that Wingate.
