The hotel itself was very nice and the food was excellent staff were very friendly and helpful would recommend this hotel to anyone surrounding area was pretty rundown and a lot of buildings were lying empty the beach had seen better days could have been needing a good clean up I know that the season was at the start

Rooms a little dated but liked the Greek feel to the room. Hotel very clean. Staff cannot do enough for you. Very close to the beach and has three pool areas to choose from.loved the Greek, Pitta and Burger restaurants. Also loved the ice cream restaurnt, lots of variety and food options to choose from. Asian restaurant good but the Italian Restaurant not so many options menu should be revised Buffet food hall/restaurant good lots of options to choose from for Breakfast. Although no Tuna or prawns served which would have been nice. Also no blueberries. Hotel around 10-12 minutes walking distance to Harbour, Old Town and new town lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Would book Hotel again if affordable.

Amazing service. Hotel v. Good. Main dining hall food very good overall, but coffee was not upto standard. Would have expected some smoked salmon and more fish, sardines. I would visit again. Staff amazing, the best ive experienced in a hotel ever. 9/10

Wonderful Staff, great amenities and dining options. the mentality behind the establishment it to let the guests feel comfortable and enjoy their time. Quality of food is top, and drinks are top bar quality. And after we checked out, as our flight was in the evening, we were told that we can use the facilities until we leave. It was our second time in Rhodes, and will be back again for sure to Mitsis hotels either this one or another one

The amount of ridiculous rules about what you can and can't have/do make this an unpleasant hotel to stay in. For example, we had lunch in the Greek restaurant and the dessert (like so many other things) was not available. However, it was in the next restaurant a couple of metres away. They insisted that I sit at a table for 4 in one establishment with my husband sitting at a table for 4 in the other to eat dessert. Certainly not a customer centred approach! Another example, the minibar in the room (small bottle of wine, 2 beers and 4 cans of pop) can only be replenished every other day. I thought the member of staff replenishing the minibar was going to explode when I asked for a replacement beer. The food in the main dining room is very poor and everything tasted the same. It also wasn't hot. Cleaning of bedrooms inadequate - literally a change of the bins and towels daily. I would never stay here again. Definitely, not 5*.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, staff and service 1st class, food so much to choose from lots of a la carte restaurants, hotel spotless always cleaning all areas. Lovely beach front location with free sun beds, only 15 minute walk in to the port and old town. Great evening entertainment and branded drinks what more could you want. Had a fantastic 14 night holiday here and can’t wait to return again next year bringing the family with us.

For the price we paid through Expedia, the hotel is good. Not 5* and high quality that the brand seems to suggest though. The restaurants served good food but the buffet was very basic. 3 star quality compared to other all inclusive hotels. The food choices were all most the same every night. The restaurants seem very under staffed too, even though there’s lots of people working there. We went for brunch one morning and got told basically they had run out of everything because of the other guests so when I ordered the fruit pancakes, it was literally a pancake and syrup. The brunch restaurant was an absolute mess too. When we dined in the Italian restaurant, the service was very slow. I asked for an aperol spritz with my food and got told we usually would offer this but are too busy so pick a simpler drink. Not really 5* service. We ordered a lunch bag for a day trip and my vegetarian sandwich was literally tomato and lettuce. When you order one from the app it describes a lovely cheese roll in a lovely white chilled bag to keep your food cool all day. We got given a falling apart black bag and a paper bag. Don’t advertise it as so lovely if it’s so basic. The room we had was very dated and clearly needed a refurbishment compared to the other rooms we saw. Most of the hotel staff are very friendly. Great bar service! I think they are just overwhelmed with how many guests stay at the hotel. A few changes and the hotel would be great.

Fantastic sea view. Cocktails and food selection was some of of the best we’ve experienced. Lovely walk into Rhodes old town and also close to a bit of a party zone which we also enjoyed. We will be back.

What an amazing hotel! It has anything you could ever ask for. And the fact that they make you stay at the hotel and use the beach, pools and all inclusive benefits (food and drinks) even the day of the check out (if you have a late flight) it makes it more worth it!

The property was very close to the sea and also walkable to the old town so a good location. The staff were friendly and mostly helpful. However it badly needs renovation. The first room we were offered was in a very poor condition. The bathroom looked wrecked, broken tiles, broken down bath, and toilet seat incorrectly fitted. The room was not the size stated on the website and looked nothing like the picture or what we had expected. We stayed in the room one night before moving to a better room that was very noisy. We should have asked to move again but were told that if we called down to reception they would ask people to be quieter. On one night we called reception 4 times between midnight and 2am. The food was adequate but more like canteen food than expected for a five star hotel. The a la carte restaurants were very nice but could only be booked for two dinners and one brunch.

The staff at the Mitsis Grand Hotel Beach Hotel are the real stars of the property. Every single member of staff we had met have been super helpful and very pleasant to converse with. I can't overstate how lovely our stay was because of them. The rooms were a bit dated and need a bit of refreshment however, they come with everything you need and the A/C was lovely however the decor and the upkeep has suffered a little, chipped paint, odd scratches here and there. The facilities are great and what you would expect and the food (esp. in the places by the pool, shout outs to the Mexican restaurant and their pork dish and staff!! ) The hotel itself is located close to the medieval town as well as the acropolis above the town. Highly reccomend this hotel!

Overall a very enjoyable stay. The staff are really helpful and smiling. Dining options are a must as food in the buffet does not vary too much. The best was the Greek pool restaurant and Alexa who runs it was always so welcoming and happy. Great location and enjoyed walking to the harbour only a 10 min walk along the seafront. Thanks Mitsis we will be back sometime soon.
