"Was originally a monastery. Incredible staff. Beautiful views. Make sure to ask for room with A/C because not all have one. No elevator but staff assists with luggage. Good idea to upgrade to suite. Very historic rooms. Be sure you are ready for a somewhat challenging drive and narrow road up to hotel which can be challenging at times. We love this place and will return. "As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather.
