"We had a great stay here! Lots of room, well stocked with everything we could need. Private location but close to calabogie ski hill in winter and some great roads for motorcycles in summer! Trails to walk the dog outside and a cozy wood stove inside. Very responsive host. Thank you, it was hard to leave"

"This is our second time staying here. The cottage is spacious in a nice setting by a small river. We needed to use the portable air-conditioner due to the high temperature this long weekend. We enjoyed the 3 + 1 kayaks and a well-maintained play structure for the little ones. The fireplace in front of the house was removed, probably due to forest fire hazard this year. The drives from our homes were long esp. for a long weekend stay this year vs. a week long stay last year. Drawbacks this year...

"This was our first attempt camping with our 2.5 year old, and as I'm pregnant and didn't want to sleep on the ground in a tent, we rented the Springdale. It went really well. The trailer is very spacious and they really set you up with everything you need, so I won't pack so much next time! My only issue was that the queen bed is very hard. I'd recommend bringing a roll of foam to put down on top. The wood we purchased was also entirely soaked. I've had wet wood before but this was terrible. I'm...

"We loved every minute. We can't wait to go back next year and book a longer stay. The loons were magical. The location was so peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful. Our beach was alittle rough for our 6yrs old but there was a public sandy beach a few minutes away. If you're attached to your cell phone this isn't your place. There is cell reception 15minutes away if need be. I honestly didn't miss having access. More time for family to concentrate on each other. If you go remember bug spray"
