We've stayed many times at waxham sands but on the camping and touring side.

We've stayed many times at waxham sands but on the camping and touring side. It was always basic but guess that was the charm. Always loved this site. This time we decided to try the static caravans. 3 adults 2 teanages and 1 dog.We wasn't disappointed. The van was brand new with some lovely touches left inside, the beds were made up, towels left, 2 dog bowles with a blanket and one to wipe his paws. Small milk, a few tea bags and coffee, box of short bread, hand gel and washing up things. Was well impressed. There have been some changes on this site but we think they are for the better, there's a big safari tent that's got tables and chairs in with games and books to use. Fire pit where you can toast marshmallows. There's an area where food stalls come if you don't want to cook for yourself's and a bar. A brand new park, an updated shop and also a doggy spa to wash your furry friends after a day at the beach and also one where you can also wash the sand off your self's. Yes things have changed but you can still enjoy the touring and camping and also now if you don't have your own van or tent you can rent a van, best of both worlds. They really do seem to be trying their best and make this work for everyone. The beach is still there and still the best, loads of seals still around which was nice to see. Only downside was the van wasn't ready when we got there and had to wait just over 1 hour till it was but we got a free drink and went for a walk around. (The kids missed the crazy golf) All in all we enjoyed our stay, we would return and would definitely recommend.
