The inn dates back to the 1800's and four U.S. Presidents have stayed here. Located 22 minutes from Saratoga Racetrack and 45 minutes from Lake George, we loved being able to explore the area and return to this quiet inn. "This place was so charming from the minute we pulled in. They gave you infused hot towels and cookies at check-in. NO ELEVATOR!!!! I do not like that hotels do not keep their restaurants open, as was the case for us. It was a Sunday. The beds were great, pool was great, desk help was great. Phillys down the street had great food. Free parking! What a nice change of pace from the ordinary hotel room!"
