"We always stay here when we're in Troy. Staff are outstanding! Plus great breakfast, and location. Right across the street from our favorite restaurant - Emery's."
Stylish loft in the heart of downtown Troy with onsite parking
10/10 Excellent
"The room was perfect. Clean and well organized. Very modern and comfortable. The host was very responsive. The parking was very convenient and very accessible to the apartment. Some nice eateries in the neighborhood. The only hicup was using the lockbox and getting the key, but figured I it out."
5th and Grand - Lovingly Restored Brownstone Troy NY Unit 1
10/10 Excellent
"Stay at 5th and Grand was so conveniently located to activities and restaurants in the downtown area. We were able to walk everywhere! April was a super-responsive host, the unit was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed."
"Communication with the host was great. My father had a medical issue beyond the refund window that stopped us from making the original reservation date, Owner allowed us to move our date out a couple of weeks. Everything was clean, the kitchen and dishes were clean. The bathroom was brand new. All of the beds were comfy and clean. I slept on the couch bed in the third room, it was firm and comfortable. It was a great location for us. We were originally from the area and went back to visit family in Latham and Cohoes. It is less then 10 minutes to Cohoes, Latham or Troy. less then 5 minutes to the food joints we loved, Gus's hot dogs and Teds fish fry. (hit both if you are in this area.) There's a grocery store right across the street, a Dunkin's across the other street. The area is rougher then it was when we left. but safe enough to walk to the Dunkin or store without worrying about anything. This is a first floor apartment of a two story home. I don't think the second floor was occupied as we did not hear anyone while we were there. The AC worked great. We didn't eat to many meals at the home but it had everything we needed to cook when we needed it. (not much in the cupboards in the way of spices but the basics were there. Plenty of pillows sheets and blankets. There is a backyard with chairs and a barbeque, but we never went out the backdoor. "
