"It was a great experience! My only suggestion is that the property limit dogs to one floor. We were on the third floor and there were a couple of dogs who barked occasionally. Only other suggestion is limit the hot tubs to adults for a longer period of time. It is a lovely setting!"

with a caveat. Yes it is wonderful to take a digital detox but... Please boost the Wi-Fi! The Wi-Fi gets spotty when too many devices start attaching. Not a problem if you don't want it but since the cell signals is low number bars, phone Wi-Fi calling is not available either."

"We come to Hood River once a year. Usually stay right in town. Not anymore. This lodge is 1 min away from Main Street. Directly on the Columbian River. Beautiful view. Spotless clean. So quiet which we don’t get being right in town.. Nice grounds. Room was comfortable with super comfortable bed. Staff so friendly. Family owned with long history. Games at front desk. Thoughtfulness of amenities appreciated "

"The room was spotless and the pool was beautiful!! Perfect temp. Our Polar Express train ride got cancelled due to flooding and I think the pool/hot tub still made the drive worth it. :) Food at the restaurant was great too! "
