Riverbend Retreat - New River frontage, hot tub, pool table!

"It was a great fit for our family. The dining room table was large enough for all of us and the bedroom/bathroom layout worked well. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Our kids and grandkids loved the yard for baseball and everyone including the 16 month old loved the river. Convenient to Boone and West Jefferson. Kids said they would like to go back there again."

Unforgettable - Geodesic Dome w/Hot Tub, & Private!

"Very unique and peaceful home. One for the bucket list. The house sits atop a huge hill and is quite remote, so more ideal for an active family. The pond was plentiful and my son really enjoyed the catch/release fishing. The beds were comfy though make sure you bring a sleep mask since there is no way to cover the windows. The house was well stocked with kitchen items, games, tv etc. Don't let all the scary talk about the internet dissuade you. We had excellent service there (Verizon). Also, Waze was a reliable app to navigate to the property. We took day trips into Grayson Highland State park and there are several beautiful golf courses close enough by that my sons and husband also enjoyed. The house would benefit from an outdoor hose. Since we brought our dogs and they don't always understand how to stay out of any mud, it would have been helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"I’ve been in Sparta many times but never stayed overnight. The Inn is a little vintage but with some updates and clean! Great value especially if you’re doing Parkway activities. I would not think twice about booking there again. Sparta has some excellent comfort food venues and the Bluffs restaurant on the Parkway is worth it with food and ambience. We’ve been going to the Bluffs for 40 years (except when they were renovating and COVID). Please go treat yourself to both! We actually stayed at the Bluffs Lodge twice before it closed. Slow down and go enjoy Sparta and the Bluffs restaurant."
