"Beautiful spot. We love being able to sit on the porch and watch the deer in the meadow across from the cabin when they show up. We also love being able to make our own meals. We've stayed at Wuksachi many times, and this is much better by far."

"This is a great lodge/cabin style property in the woods off the Generals Highway. There’s a lake and tennis and archery. People come to vacation here. We were only staying here while exploring Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon so didn’t take advantage of the facilities as much but the food and service was incredible. All meals are included and they are very high quality buffet style. The direct access bridge to the property was damaged so there was a 15 min detour via a dirt road into the woods which was a bit inconvenient but part and parcel of the whole forest experience I guess. The room was spacious and the linens were good. I would come back if I was in the area again. The staff was lovely too. "

"Ideal, quiet & peaceful setting! Cute 1950s vibe house - very comfortable. Nice off-line activities: horse shoes, wonderful "big butt" swings, tic-tac-toe, just goofing around by/in the river. There is a screen door off the master bedroom that allows you to sleep with the sound of the water.I would not recommend this property for folks with mobility issues. There is no rail on the steps or along the raised stepping stones up to the house. Also, the shower is "sunken" - you have to go down a couple of steps.If mobility isn't a problem for you, this property is beautiful!"

"We loved the location and that’s solely why we wanted to stay here. Staff is great, it is limited in staff but they are very attentive once they’re available. Check in and out was easy. Rooms were clean. They also have a tv which can be rare in National Park lodging. It was a great in between to visit Kings Canyon and Sequoia. We are also really close to Big Stump, General Grant and Panorama View. Overall great time during our National Park venture, and close to amenities. "

"Stony Creek is a charming small lodge located in the beautiful Sequoia National Forest. It is an older facility but is well maintained and clean. The staff was excellent and attentive to our needs. Though there is a short drive to the main sights in Sequoia National Park, it is away from the crowds and is more affordable than other options in the area. Free breakfast included! We enjoyed our stay there very much!"
