"Thanks for letting us stay on your beach property. You can’t get any closer to the water than this house! We loved hearing the waves, and collecting shells. We spent a lot of time on the back deck in the hot tub and sitting by the fire pit in the evening. The house was clean and beautifully decorated! We hope to come stay here again!"

"Sojourn is an absolutely wonderful company to rent from. This is our second time with them and they never disappoint. Not only was the home spotless, their communication is top notch. We enjoyed the amazing view of Back River right from the yard. The home was very comfortable and provided all the essentials. While the kitchen was stocked, it could use some additional items such as a colander, more bowls and platters. My only real critique would be regarding the outside property grounds. The driveway could use some maintenance to fix the potholes and cut back the overgrown brush/trees so you don’t scrape your vehicle. There is also an abundance of overgrown bushes surrounding the home which make it difficult to get to the bayside. These items aside, the home is very comfortable and met all of our needs."

"If you're looking for a very clean, spacious house with all the amenities, this is where you want to stay. There is plenty of room for 10 or more people to sleep comfortably. Bring your boat and use the dock in the backyard. The host is easy to contact if you need anything. Location is convenient to Buckroe Beach Park, restaurants and grocery stores. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together there with our family."

"The house is adorable and well equipped for our weekend stay. It was in perfect proximity to Buckroe Beach and the neighborhood was very quiet. The only criticism I have is the grass was a bit long and it would have been nice if there was a clear walkway to the side door and back of the house to use the outdoor shower. Otherwise, it was exactly as described and very tidy."

"We rented here as a mini vacation when we moved our son from basic training in SC to Ft. Eustis, about 30 minutes away from the house. It was perfect for the 5 of us and had everything we needed. The host went above and beyond when she had a small grill delivered because the one at the house was not usable. She replied almost immediately to the couple other questions we had. Our plans changed, and we didn't have time to walk to the beach, but the proximity was part of the reason we booked here. We did visit the beach after we checked out of the house, and it was clean and beautiful and less crowded and touristy than most beaches you'd visit. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This house is so much bigger than the photos show, Two bedrooms downstairs with a shared bath, four large bedrooms upstairs with a shared bath, and a third full bath in the laundry area. The separate floors for bedrooms make this the perfect house if you are traveling with teenagers. It was very clean and Lynn was very responsive to all our needs. The beach is about 5 min walk and ice cream just a block or so, Highly recommend."

"The house is very spacious in a quiet neighborhood and yet still convenient to get groceries/dine out. We enjoyed seeing the area's wildlife and spending time at the beach. The pool and hot tub were perfect for the days we wanted to stay in and relax, and my family greatly enjoyed putting together some of the puzzles in the home in between activities. Owners' communication is prompt and kind and we had a very nice stay."
