It was the perfect place for a one night stay for my husband, mom, and small dog. The owners were very friendly upon checking us in, and the room was very clean & reasonably priced. Our room had a full sized fridge and a small microwave. The motel is a bit "vintage (blue toilet & tub), but aside from a bit of a moth ball type smell, it was exactly what we needed for easy loading/unloading of luggage, people and pottying the pooch👍👍 Our room had a lake view as well. I would definately stay again.

couple get away

We needed a stopping off point on our way to Grand Forks North Dakota. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this to anyone needing a quick comfortable place to stay overnite

The rooms had a nice rustic feel and were spacious. The beds were very comfortable. It is not very often that you get a full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and a cook top in the room. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here twice (so far) while passing through for Christmas holidays. The rooms are always super clean, smell fresh, and are toasty warm for the winter. Forest Lake Restaurant is a quick walk from the rooms (2 minutes) and has excellent food. We love stopping here.

It was a good place to stay, had all the amenities we needed and super friendly staff. The room always felt damp but i think thats from all the rain that had been recieved, it was roomy and clean, better than the pictures.

This place has the title of motel, so my expectations were low, but to my surprise the room was well put together and wonderfully clean. No question, we will stay here again
