Lil' Piece of Heaven is our newly remodeled 1960's cabin!

Reconnect with Nature and listen to the Colorado River from the steps of our Grand Lake cabin! This is the quintessential Colorado vibe you are looking for. Newly remodeled with local pine and upgrades that feels like a dream mountain retreat. This adorable 1960s cabin sits atop the Colorado River with absolutely amazing views in every direction. It is located 4 miles to downtown Grand Lake and less than a mile from Shadow Mountain lake where you can enjoy all the things! Biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, fishing, bird watching, swimming, picnicking, backpacking, outdoor games, shopping and all the adventure our small mountain town brings.

There is a cozy living room, expandable dining table, family room with new 65” tv and fully stocked kitchen with updated appliances. The cabin includes 2 TV’s with Amazon fire stick and Roku, a Wii gaming system and CD player with lots of movies. The main cabin can accommodate up to 4 guests in the two bedrooms (both with queen beds) and 4 more guests in the bunkhouse area where you will find the 3rd bedroom (queen bed). There is a futon bunkbed with a queen and twin bed in the family room area. (Curtains can be pulled to create a bit of privacy in this space) Washer and Dryer are also available in the powder room. Office space with printer.

Enjoy the outdoor space with beautiful views of the Colorado River, (access to the river down a switch back trail during summer) Shadow Mountain Lake and Never Summer Mountain range of the Rocky Mountains. The views are absolutely amazing right out the front door. There is both a gas and charcoal grill or try some smores over a crackling fire in the outdoor gazebo with fire-pit. Enjoy the sounds of the river as you sit under the patio at our outdoor bar and fireplace. Moose, bear, deer, elk, fox and other critters have been known to pass through so bring your camera!
Access to the Colorado River is right behind the cabin! Fish, pan for gold, cold plunge and splash in the river! 2 kayaks and 2 mountain bikes on site for your enjoyment.

This is our 2nd time to this VRBO. We love it! It’s close to everything we wanted to do. And the outdoor space is fantastic. We especially loved the outdoor covered patio with the fireplace. And the night sky was amazing! It was so relaxing and just what we needed! We highly recommend this place.

This cabin is amazing ! This is my 3rd stay here with friends and now there is no other place that can compare. The host Kenna is very responsive and available whenever you need something. Clean comfortable beds. Slept like a baby .Beautiful location with awesome views and so many outdoor spots to enjoy the views and listen to the sounds of the river below. The cabin is so well appointed and thoughtfully laid out. The kitchen has everything that you need to cook delicious meals. Cozy living areas and plenty of room to spread out. All of the little touches, design and cute messages throughout the cabin make it cozy and inviting. Can't say enough good things about this place !

Cozy Cabin for Our Holiday Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin for Christmas. Clean, spacious and cozy. We loved both sitting areas in the main living area and the bunkhouse. Beautiful property in a great location and Kenna is very responsive. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and we would love to stay again in the near future.

Cozy cabin with great location!

This was our best VRBO rental hands down. The host has extremely thoughtful touches throughout the cabin that really enhance the stay. The location is great-we spent a day checking out river and hanging out at the cabin which is super cozy. The next day spent day out on Grand Lake! Highly recommend this cabin-it was one of the highlights of our vacation :)

Great Cabin and location at Grand Lake

Lil’ Peace of Heaven is the perfect place to enjoy the Grand Lake area. Just a few miles out of town with a view of Shadow Mountain Lake and the North Fork of the Colorado River. The property has lots of amenities and outdoor space to enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains or for family and friends to gather. I would highly recommend staying here and will consider it for future visits to Grand Lake.

This cabin was awesome!! We loved the location (close to Granby, Grand Lake, RMNP, and many trails). There’s a gorgeous view from the backyard of the Colorado River - LOVED to hear it from the kitchen! We loved the outside fireplace under the covered patio too! Everything about this place is perfect. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!!

Perfect cabin in Grand Lake

We had a wonderful long weekend at this cabin in Grand Lake. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from town with breathtaking views. This was the most well stocked vrbo we’ve stayed at. It had everything we could possibly need. The beds were comfy, we had plenty of space for family of four and our pup. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing!!

If I could give it more than 5 stars I would! Not only was it clean, well stocked and gorgeous, it fit our family of 5 with room to spear. The location was beautiful and so relaxing. We found ourselves wanting to be back at the property hanging out as opposed to exploring our surroundings. We will definitely book again!

Ladies road trip

This property was perfect for our group. My mother walks with a cane, and was able to navigate the house easily. We had been traveling for 5 days and the house was a perfect retreat. My cousin and I were able to be active while my mom and aunt rested. So many special touches. We had s’mores, glasses of wine and warmed ourselves by the pit under the gazebo. We cooked, rested, and hiked down to the river. There are so many spaces here to spread out and gather as a family. I would highly recommend the house for families and friends. Thank you for all the attention to details for a peaceful rest. Grand Lake is truly a beautiful area. Everyone we met was helpful and the homemade candy from town was a bonus. Next visit we will spend more time by the lake!!!

CANT WAIT TO COME BACK

Loved staying at this beautiful cabin. "Lil peiece of heaven" is a perfect description for the stay. The kids loved the bunkhouse. Couldnt have asked for a better place to see the snow and enjoy the winter. We will definitely be looking to come back soon! Thank you.

Amazing!!!

I was seriously so sad to leave this place. It really is so great and wonderful for family and friends. We went with 4 adults and 2 toddlers and had a wonderful time. The husbands loved walking down to the river to do a plunge. There's so much space. Definitely will come back!

Family vacation Grand Lake

The cabin and location were great! Really enjoyed the patio area and listening to the river. Very well stocked kitchen, games inside and out and overall very comfortable. Plenty of room for our family of seven. A lot of nice finishes with the recent remodel but still keeping a mountain cabin feel. Communication was easy and host made sure we had what we needed for our stay including baby items. Hope to stay here again!

A little piece of heaven

The cabin and location was just beautiful and so peaceful. My family loved being there relaxing and enjoying themselves. The host had a very large variety of games, Bikes and other things to do. We mostly enjoyed having A fire in the fire pit at night and just talking and making great memories. They want to go there again next year. Thank you for letting us stay.

Kenna was absolutely wonderful and her place was more than well appointed! A great deal of thought went into everything; even the shower towels were soft and big. Great outdoor bar area and lawn seats to listen to the river below. Loved everything about this home and wouldn’t hesitate to stay in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay, everything was as advertised and more. Perfect place for a family or a couple. Excellent location for Rocky Mtn Natl Park access. We enjoyed relaxing above the Colorado River, listening to the sound of the rushing water go by. Kenna provided excellent communication throughout the process, she's a great host. We strongly recommend this Lil Piece of Heaven. If we make it back through there, we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Great place in a great area

This house has all you could want in a mountain vacation. The location allows for easy access to all surrounding attractions. In five days we hiked mountain trails, fished, kayaked, paddle boarded, rafted and explored the beautiful RMNP. The house itself is very nice, clean, well furnished and has just the right amount of Colorado mountain quirkiness. Communication with the host, check-in/check-out and price were easy and reasonable. If you want to experience mountains, lakes, a national park, a great mountain downtown, an awesome house and great hospitality from a host this is the place.
