Beautiful and perfect location. Serene and private and only 10 minutes away from anything you need. Cozy and clean with fully accommodating kitchen. Family of 9 stayed and from age 2 to 65 no one was ready to leave. Thank you.
easy to find, expansive living room with fireplace, hot tub was great after skiing. plenty of space for storage and nice storage space in the garage. all tvs appliances hvac worked perfectly.
What a great property with everything you need for a perfect stay. There is not a flaw with the property. Great location, 37 min to winter park for skiing, and a cozy quiet neighborhood. Thank you for the hospitality with check in and answering all questions. Definitely would highly recommend!
We had a great time staying there for 3 days, 2 nights. There were 11 of us, 6 adults and 5 kids. We loved it. Clean. Excellent communication. Awesome place.
Close to docking on Shadow Lake. Not over crowded with other homes. So peaceful to hear the birds in the morning and the vast miklyway at night. Beds are all comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Very nice place to stay.
My husband, 4 kids and I had a wonderful stay! The home was larger than we expected and such a fun layout. Plenty of space for all of us. We loved the location and enjoyed the beautiful view of the Mountains. Grand Lake itself it such a quaint and charming little town. Perfect for our family. We especially loved how close the RMNP entrance was as well as day trips to white water rafting and the Rodeo. We would definitely recommend this to any and all and would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property and all the memories our family was able to create because of it. Very grateful.
Great stay . Hope we left it like we found it and better . If you find a set of air pods in a purple case would highly appreciate sending them to us . Glad to pay for any trouble !
The house was amazing! It had all the accommodations we could ever need. The property manager was amazing and got us everything we needed. The lake was absolutely gorgeous and we had so much fun on our trip!
The property details said 4 bedrooms and, 2 pull out beds in den.The "den" was completely open to the house, no curtains on the windows, that is not a den that is a loft. More importantly the “pull out” was filthy and thin, the extra pullout was stained and disgusting. The blow up bed had a hole and deflated with 30 minutes. And none of these beds had sheets, I was finally able to find only one set of dirty sheets and no pillow cases. The host didn't respond with any concern to my message and said that I booked for only 1 person.(Why would I book a 4 bedroom house for 1 person, and by that logic, why did they put sheet on the other 3 beds?Because regardless of the number of people booked, if you say you have a den with 2 beds you need to provide that. Our trip was much harder because of this, we had to make people share beds and they did not sleep well. I'm very disappointed with this trip, we spent a lot of money to take our family to spend some time together in the mountains and it was not a pleasant stay in this house. In addition to this complaint, I would advise a deep cleaning, the house was dirty, dust trash and old socks under the beds, crumbs in the drawers, broken kitchen tools, stained showers and windows. One of the beds was kept in the basement with a kitty litter box that stank!
As a new property listing, I found the description and photos provided an accurate view of the cabin. Check in was fairly easy. We were initially provided with an incorrect garage code but we received a phone call within 60 seconds to try the corrected access code. Great support to correct the issue. The cabin was clean and ready on time with clear instructions posted on the fridge during our stay. The cabin has plenty of space for all of our party. I found our host Christine to be very responsive with questions prior to our arrival. This is a fantastic rental property in a great location. There is plenty of parking, although we were informed that the HOA required us to move vehicles from the street to the property driveway which was not a problem. My family spends at least 1 week or more every year in the Grand Lake area and I definitely will keep this property in mind for future visits.
We did get a subtle smell of canibus use in the basement which is likely the fault of previous guests. The certainly is not a fault of our host or of the cabin itself. I feel the cleaning crew did the best job possible to remove the odor but it was very slight and did not intrude on our trip. I don't hold this against the host or the property since there is no way to prevent previous guests from this type of behavior.
All in all this is a wonderful property and I expect I will book again for a future trip.
Thank you for sharing your amazing cabin with us Christine!
