I have very ambivalent feelings about this property. On the positive side, the location was very close to the entrance of Rocky Mt Nat'l Park and Grand Lake; the large well appointed kitchen and the overall spaciousness of the cabin on the parlor floor are well done.
However, the negatives are huge. First, the house is dark and cavernous with little natural light. If you like to look out at dumpsters, this house takes the prize. There are 4 dumpsters right in front of the house (useful perhaps, but an eyesore) which are your most prominent view. Furthermore, the owners are very skimpy with towels -- for a 5 day stay each of us got 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel. There were no extra towels in the closets as is the custom in other rental properties we have enjoyed. Also, there were no supplies in the house that make living easy: no soap in the showers, no plastic bags under the sink, no soap for the dishwasher, no laundry soap in the utility room. These small amenities would go a long way to make the guests feel more welcome. .We have always had them in ample supply in other rentals. Furthermore, the fire pit in the back yard is amble but the surrounding mess makes it look more like a dump than an entertainment space.
More: the TV is advertised as a Smart TV but 4 adults with advanced degrees and 2 very smart teenagers could not figure out how to get Netflix or Prime.
I believe the property is overpriced.
