Terrible property, not clean at all, did not feel safe, room was dirty, only 1 towel was provided, staff made us feel uncomfortable. Checked out early due to these reasons.
The good: great water pressure, seriously hot water, decently comfortable beds.
The challenging: this place needs some serious TLC. It didn’t feel clean (as in- it was not at all clean), there was no coffee in the room, no tissues, and just a couple of towels for us to clean up. We felt like this was a time of transition for this hotel, and we hope the best for them in the future. We personally would not be back.
We did not feel safe. There were no towels in the room and upon looking at the moldy shower, we decided we didn’t need them.

It was ok. When I checked in, I waited for more than five minutes before someone came. When he gave me the keys he said thanks then left didn't give me any directions of where to go. The room was on the back side of the building so it took me a minute to find it. The room was good. The guests next door seem to be living there. They were loud until around 1:00 am. I think I won't go there again.
Our room smelled so bad I asked for another one. The desk representative was kind and walked around with me to try and find a better smelling room. After looking at 4 other rooms (That all smelled) I picked the one that smelled the least bad. The odor was that of cat pee, dog pee, cigarettes, and everything in between. The pillows smelled. I had to cover everything with my own blankets. We were given one towel for 2 adults. The dog area had not been picked up and was so gross. The outside hallway to our room also smelled so bad, was sticky, and covered in trash. I did not feel safe or clean. The Continental Breakfast was bread, bagels, and yogurt. This was the worst stay at any motel I have been at. I will NEVER stay here again. Because people live in this motel there were broken down cars, people in the parking lot doing all kinds of things, it was absolutely gross and disgusting.
I didn’t expect much with the low price, but I did expect more than what we got. 2 people, 2 nights for quick access to 70 to mountain bike. We were given 3 towels and when I asked for more I received the response “didn’t I give you 3?” Needless to say we didn’t get new towels. There were empty liquor bottles and beer can under the bed, not to mention the sticky carpet. I’m happy to dirtbag it, but I’ll definitely pay a little more to stay elsewhere.
I grew up in Grand Junction I used to recommend this Days Inn to friends and family. It at the time was clean and well kept, and had a very friendly staff. Plus it was right next to Denny's on horizon drive. So when I need to go back to Junction Days Inn was were I booked. The Staff was friendly enough. got a little worried when one of them explained to mt husband that the credit card on file would not be charged unless they found a new hole in the wall that was not already there, the room was alright stains on the carpet. the sheet had body fluid on it we pulled that sheet off. the Pet area was so nasty that my service dog refused to go to the bathroom I thank God she is potty trained so no accidents in the room. but she held it until we went to the hospital for my appointment. the second night we got back close to 9 pm only to find the key card to our room no longer worked. we had to go to the office and the Staff member Dan helped us out. I have no complaints against him he was the only really saving grace to our stay. I truly hope that the owners will read this and take steps to refix the place up. I was sad to see it in the shape that it was in. truly if we could have we might have found a different place to stay but for what ir was it worked.
All of the staff were super friendly! It sucks to leave such a negative review, because they were all so nice. But the room (barf noise) was absolutely disgusting! I took tons of pictures. The bathtub had soap scum and tons of soap hair in it, the bathroom floor and wall had splatter that looked like poo. The bathroom mirror was covered in toothpaste splatter. The hair blow dryer had pubic hair all matted on it and on top of the holder. Every wall had splatter and food. Drapes and bedding had tons of stains. Water damage to the ceiling. It was pretty bad. And on top of that, housekeeping was in there when we were trying to check in, so it’s not like a mistake was made.
Save your money! Go somewhere else! This is so sad because this was always where we stayed in GJ. It is right across the street from Applebee's, and it was always clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. Haven't been there in a few years and we booked two nights. One the night before we flew out and one the night we got back. The first night there was trash on the floor under the desk, had to go to the front desk to get a roll of toilet paper and there was no power cord to the hair dryer. Tile was cracked and dirty in the bathroom and shower grout was dirty and rusted as well as shower curtain being dirty. The second night which I couldn't cancel because we had already paid for was just as bad. I had to stand in the lobby for 10 minutes before anyone showed up to check us in. Second room was just as bad as the first. We did have toilet paper and there was a cord for the hair dryer but no hand soap for the sink. Beds were ok and the sheets seamed clean. That's as good as it gets! New management I'm assuming!!
Room was dirty. Tub was dirty. Dead bugs on floor tile. Sheets on one bed were stained. When we went to check in to get breakfast the door was locked. No one around. Lots of garbage in parking lot. I’ve stayed in sketchy places before but this overall was the worst
Just stopping for a few hours rest during a cross-country drive. Most important is:
1) My family's Safety
2) Room is Clean & Functional
All else is not a priority at this time.
