This property was located on the canal with access to fishing and crabbing. Nice porch area with a swing, bench and picnic area. Location was great! Nice accommodations and host was quick to respond with any answers to questions. Will rent again in the future!
Was a comfortable stay for our group (5 adults). Everything was as advertised. Camp was clean. Clearance underneath the camp is very short, no room to park vehicles or boat. Boat slips were real convenient but on falling tide slips are super shallow. 21’ bay boat did fine. Short boat ride to Bridgeside was a plus. Would recommend a light for the cleaning table.
Overall this was the best place I've ever stayed. Everything was just like posted, in an amazing area, very peaceful and all around perfect! Definitely recommend this property!
We literally caught a stringer of trout from under carport. Great place, amazing location. 10/10 want to rent it again next year.seen another review that said we’d have to duck because floor was low, it was not. I’m 6’3 and never came close. Highly recommend to new fishers, they can learn while you BBQ.
Great location but the boat slips do get very shallow in the evening as the tide pulls out. They need to be dug out but still very much enjoyed being right on the water
MY FAMILY AND I CHECKED IN HERE FOR SOME FAMILY TIME FOR MY 50TH BIRTHDAY. I JUST WANTED A WEEKEND TO FISH, RELAXING AND ENJOY TIME WITH MY KIDS AND GRAND KIDS. THIS PLACE WAS PERFECT. I WOULD GO BACK! WE LOVED IT.

My husband , grandson, and son in law could not walk under camp without hitting their heads. Too low. They had to keep bending down to get to the boat slip. Funny but not fun. Bed mattresses are too old. No one slept good.
Great location for fishing you can just hop in the boat and go, you can catch crabs right on the property, handy fish cleaning table, and a short walk across to beach. Everyone in our group had a excellent time. Thanks Mr Richard
This camp is ideal for the fisherman and the beach goer. You can have your boat parked under the camp ready to go or jump in your golf cart and drive right across the hey to the beach. Also, being able to walk right to the hurricane hole bar or convienence store is a nice plus.
We stayed here with my three children (aged 6-10 yrs of age) and we had an absolute blast! The location was a really short walk to the beach and we brought a small casting net for use along the canal. We caught small bait fish and shrimp right off the dock, and also baby crabs, hermit crabs, and salps. The sunsets were gorgeous! Every visit to the beach included seeing a small group of dolphins once or twice.
The house was nicely spread out for our group of 6, and the washer/dryer was incredibly convenient. The house was clean, with plenty of dishes and bath towels (we brought our own for the beach). Make sure to pick up detergent on your way in or drop by the Hurricane Hole Marina store for some.
I wasn't sure how much would be open due to hurricane recovery, but there were 4-5 restaurants open on the isle as well as 2 grocery stores.
