Nice stay in Williams
Perfect house, loved that it had an upstairs bedroom, bath, & living space since we were there with friends. And the fenced in backyard was also great. Also was very close to Main Street of Williams.

The property was good, could have used shower supplies. I hate all the fees and would be hesitant to book VRBO again.

Weekend at Taber cottage and the Grand Canyon Railroad Williams, Arizona
Finally got a chance to write a well deserved review for our stay at Taber cottage in Williams, Arizona. Our group of five adults and one child thoroughly enjoyed staying in the excellent accommodations at Taber cottage. The location , parking, and amenities were perfectly suited to a small group and a short visit. Sleeping and having a full kitchen provided every need without having to go out for time consuming trips to stores. Williams is simply the coolest Route 66 town having so much, easy access and everything I personally would have enjoyed staying just in Williams for a getaway. Betsy and I communicated through email and texted to cover any question or concern and I felt very welcomed as if by a neighbor. Check in check out, payment, directions, getting settled into Taber cottage and feeling safe and secure in a well earned exhausted sleep the craftsmen style house gets two thumbs up. Taber cottage is such a cool place to look at and walk around in. Wonderful experience. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Historic Cottage close to everything
We loved our stay at the Taber Cottage. It was so close to everything. We came up to Williams from the Phoenix area with all the grandparents to bring our 5 year old to the Polar Express. The house was perfect for the three families combined and we enjoyed everything. We would definitely stay here again!

No Happy Thanksgiving here😡
When we first walked in there was a strong sewer smell. The rugs throughout the house are brown and dirty, especially the one in the living room. The bed sheets seemed like they were not washed so we ended up using our own blankets. The host called on Thanksgiving Day and I told her about our concerns, she did not seem happy about it and ended up charching us an extra cleaning fee for a pile of poop that looked like old dog or cat poop, some hair on a small bathroom rug and a couple of small pebbles that could have been tracked in from our shoes. I have pics to prove all. We left the house very clean. We cleaned the kitchen and washed all the dishes, dumped all trashcans and turned off everything including lights as all that was instructed by the host and we even went so far as to taking our trash with us when we left so we didn't fill her trash bins outside. She was also ok with my daughter in law bringing her service dog for the day to have Thanksgiving dinner with us as I explained that she has seizures and her dog is a trained and certified service dog that she has to have by her side at all times. The host was ok with that and still charged me for it. I believe she only charged us because I told her about our issues when I spoke to her on Thanksgiving Day. Not a good look lady, you should treat your guests better.

Great location and cute house
The house is cozy, clean, and organized. Great location right off the main strip in town. Easy walking distance to everything, including restaurants, coffee, shopping, and the Grand Canyon train station. We have young kids and we were able to walk to the polar express without any complaining. Our kids loved the upstairs lounge area as their own cozy retreat.
