The cleanest budget hotel & motel I have ever stayed at. It's rare, and I was pleasantly surprised. The inn is very well-maintained, and the manager was super nice. Location is good, too. We stayed for couple of nights.

fine for a female solo traveler. initially i got put in a really smoky-smelling room (even tho it was non-smoking) but the concierge helped put me in another room that smelled better. motel carpets felt grungy/dirty. i wouldn't touch the remotes/etc without cleaning them first. felt very safe for a motel (and SO close to the historic area, 5 minute drive). lots of food places around. i wouldn't stay here again but it was fine for a roadtrip one-night dive.

For a low cost motel Budget has great amenities. Soap, cream rinse, and so on. And good coffee and coffee maker. And quite. The low cost competition usually have none of these. Like Motel 6.
