This spectacular, one-of-a-kind log house was built by us in 2003. The 18' Engleman Spruce logs are from Southern Utah and were designed and built specially for our home -- truly a work of art! Sitting on 17.5 acres, high upon a ridge, the views are nothing less than amazing, including the Continental Divide. Perfectly secluded while still be 15 minutes away from Granby Ski Ranch, Grand Elk Golf Club, and the town of Granby. Hot Sulphur Springs, and Grand Lake, are also just 25 minutes away.

Each room in the house has been carefully designed and decorated featuring high-end furnishings and comfort at every turn. An individual theme has been given to each of the five master suites, including the Luxury Master Suite, the Bear Room, the Moose Room, the Fish Room, and the Cowboy Room. All bedroom mattresses were replaced as of May, 2023, and are gloriously comfortable. If you are a movie or game buff, check out our movie/game room with the projector TV and 11-foot movie screen with surround sound for a movie theater experience.

This home is family friendly: there are 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, 4 washers and dryers, and 2 fireplaces.

New carpets were installed throughout the home in June, 2024.

We are a NON-SMOKING, NO ANIMAL home. The owner's children, as well as some of our guests, have severe reactions to these allergens, and in order to safeguard their health and well-being, these requirements are non-negotiable.

All four seasons are enjoyed and appreciated in this home. It is a great gathering place, whether for relaxation, fun, beauty, nature or to create memories of a lifetime. Our favorites are tubing down our road in the winter and building a fire to roast s'mores in the summer!

Family vacation

We really enjoyed this property!! The views were amazing! Very spacious. It was so nice having a bathroom connected to every bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and cookware. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall a great stay and beautiful view. Only complaints we had were the beds were NOT comfortable, one of the bunks was missing a mattress, DVD player in the game room was broken so kids were not able to watch movies on the big screen and the coffee pot made about 8 cups at a time for a house that holds 20 people and very slow.

Great Cabin with amazing view!

We loved and enjoyed staying in this cabin. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, plus two more in the house. Everything works perfectly. 20min away from Rocky Mountain, 4miles away from food stores and restaurants. This is a perfect place to get away and enjoy the nature! Host Nila was very kind! Definitely would recommend!

50th Anniversary Trip

We took all of our children and their families (14 in all) for our 50th anniversary trip. The house was very spacious and we were never tripping over one another. Also, there was plenty of seating in the kitchen and dining areas so we could all sit down and eat together. The house was as beautiful as it looked online and the views were amazing! If you go in the winter months, make sure you have a 4-wheel or at least an all-wheel drive as we did have trouble getting up the long drive.

Magical Cabin

This is our families second time staying here and. We look forward coming back and creating more memories. This beautiful cabin is about 25-30 min from Winter Park where we go skiing and snow tubing. It’s about 25 min away from hot springs. I suggest buying your groceries in Denver is possible because the grocery store prices in Granby are ridiculously high. I would recommend 4x4 vehicle because the driveway is steep and full of snow during the winter and you will need it. We left snow sleds there for the next guests it’s so much fun sledding down the driveway. This place is the best for families! If only it had a hot tub!

Spectacular View!

Very spacious log home where everyone had their own bathroom (we had 7 adults). The view was incredible! Less than 10 minute drive to City Market (down the hill) where they had good prices (it's part of kroger/king soopers) and a 30 ish minute drive to Grand Lake. Nila was very helpful and accessible, as was Don, the owner, when I had questions (and couldn't get into the house due to the wrong code given on the info sheets) Our crew had fun playing ping pong and foosball. We didn't try any of the tech- too complicated. It would've been nice for the area with horseshoes and firepit to be mowed, but it wasn't, so we didn't use it much. It was pretty warm in the house during the days (we were there in July), but opening the windows helped to get a cross-breeze. Everything was great in the kitchen ( 10 cup coffee pot could use replacement- as could the highchair, but they worked, so that was ok). There were spices, sugar, salt and pepper there. We made use of the crock pot and the grill. A nice carport area with lots of chipmunks was a fun place to hang out. : ) Star gazing from the back deck was AMAZING- don't remember the last time I've seen so many stars so clearly!

Beautiful cabin near Granby

Great view of the mountains, and the kitchen and living room area were perfect for a larger group. There was adequate room for larger groups to dine together and gather in the living room! The kitchen had two dishwashers and two coffee makers which was a plus for 15 to 17 people! The beds in the five bedrooms were comfortable, in particular the master room was comfy. The pull out couches were not very comfortable, except the one Theatre room pull out we did use was fine. A couple pull outs in bedrooms were uncomfortable even to children. The young couple in the loft bed moved the mattress to the floor to sleep, then the second night they used an air mattress that was provided that had a small leak. The Bear room had a bunk bed that you could move back and forth, so no one slept in that top bunk (I'm sure that has been fixed since we notified them about it). All five bedrooms had attached bathrooms which was very nice, and the couple that slept comfortably in the Theatre room had a half bathroom right outside the door of the Theatre room. I'll also mention that the place was very soundproof. You didn't hear footsteps above you, and with the bedroom doors shut, you didn't hear the early risers or late night game players outside talking or laughing.

Terrible owner

First, the house is beautiful with a great view. Slippers are required inside to prevent the spread of COVID-19 according to their posted sign. It is a 5 bedroom house but only has 4 chairs on the deck to enjoy a glass of wine and take in the view, only problem, not one wine glass because the owner doesn’t drink. Many other minor problems, but when I booked the place I told them I was having my son’s rehearsal dinner there since he was getting married on Saturday. Went to grill 2 fillets and some vegetables on the 2 grills only to find out that neither one worked properly. I called the owner and he said to the propane tanks, as if I didn’t know that. 2 were half full one was empty. The problem was the grills themselves. He proceeded to tell me I should have checked them when I got in on Monday. Isn’t that the job of the property manager! There were a multitude of lights out, several empty tissue boxes, no soap, and a refrigerator full of other peoples items, and a number of doors and windows that don’t function. He needs to worry more about proper maintenance of the property and less on the slippers.

Couldn’t be Better

Sometimes when you look at a property, the pictures are better than the actual property. In this case, the property is better than the pictures. This is an amazing find and was perfect for 12 guys on a golf trip. The house has four master bedrooms, basically all with their own bathrooms. The huge dining room table was perfect. I cannot say enough about how nice this place is. From the unbelievable view to the all around amenities this place has it all.

Granby greatness

This home is stunning. The furnishings are comfortable and so much room. The major bonus for this property is the views. They are spectacular. There isn't a bad view from anywhere in the home. Fully stocked kitchen, perfect.Plenty of play space for kids. Very fun. Take a walk down the drive and you find more amazing views, flowers and wildlife. Highly recommend.

Lovely Mountian Getaway

Our group of friends had a lovely stay at the Mountain Top Lodge. They have really set this place up for groups to be comfortable with comfortably appointed bedrooms, a great kitchen, and fun common areas. This was particularly great for our kids as they had a fun bunk room to share and a play area outside to run around. The view during sunset was breathtaking. Thanks for hosting us!

This was our second year at this home. The kids with us had a great time. As always it was great for my family, friends and our adult kids. Great location for water activities at the lakes, and launching pad for hiking and National Park viewing.

Perfect for family or group stays!

We had a phenomenal stay! The house was well stocked, had plenty of room to spread out, and stunning views. It could use a second fridge and some updated bed pillows, but overall, was very clean and luxurious. The driveway is steep so be prepared. Once up it, the property is quiet and stunning. Highly recommend!
