Oak House off Granbury Square

A short half mile walk to Historic Granbury square and all its offerings. Enjoy our shady backyard, relax by the firepit, or take a nap in one of our 3 king size beds. Bright and open remodeled home sitting on half an acre in the heart of downtown Granbury. Our guests comfort was considered in every detail, truly your home away from home. Our fully stocked kitchen is ready to prepare a meal in, complete with coffee bar and spice rack. Three spacious bedrooms each featuring a unique King bed, plush bedding, and an assortment of pillows, all with their own unique style. All rooms feature reading lights, white noise machines, and closets with both storage and luggage racks. The refurbished bathrooms feature rainshowers and hand held sprayers, or enjoy a soak in the extra deep bathtub. Each bathroom is stocked with all your basic needs, including shampoo, razors, toothbrushes, and blow dryers. Enjoy our grill, and outdoor dining space in the evenings under the shade of the elms. Relax in our spacious enclosed backyard on our hanging couch swing or adirondacks around the firepit. Play a game of cornhole or jumbo jenga before you make s'mores. Relax in our oak themed bonus room while watching TV or working peacefully on the desk. This room also features an additional queen sofa sleeper. Just a short walk from Granbury Square, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Make sure to check out our online store upon booking for celebration decor and local add ons and deliveries. This is the perfect rental for your weekend getaway in Granbury! Less than a mile from the square it's very convenient! The rooms are nice... beds comfy, storage space and two bathrooms with little extras in case you forgot something! The kitchen is roomy and is fully stocked from what we could see… And the host has a cabinet full of snacks that you can purchase just in case you get the munchies in the middle of the night and you don't have anything! We visit Granbury every December for a girls shopping weekend and I hope we can book with this host next year!

Family Reunion time

Very nice home perfectly suited for our multigenerational family. The playroom was a hit with the granddaughters and the backyard swing was perfect for morning coffee. The homes location is perfect. Two minutes to downtown, five minutes to the swim beach and five minutes to Warren's Backyard (family reunion).We definitely recommend staying here.

Granbury Getaway

Charming!

This was the perfect place to stay for our family. We were in town for a wedding, and this is close to all of the venues that we attended. It was wonderful to come home at night and sit out by the fire and just unwind from all of the festivities. Love this home and would highly recommend anyone stay here while visiting Granbury.

Perfect place for a mini family reunion!

Loved this place! Kitchen was well stocked, rooms were spacious and clean, outside areas were nice to hang out in. The Oak House is in a great location to the town square and walking/exercise trails (we used the trails every day). We had a couple questions just before our visit and our host (Nancy) was right on top of it! Will definitely stay here again.

Loved Oak House!

First timers at Oak House and we loved it! So close to everything. Clean and fully stocked with kitchenware so if you want to stay in and cook and enjoy backyard you can. We will be back!

Quick getaway!

We loved our short stay at the Oak House! We spent a wonderful evening by the fire pit and a relaxed morning with coffee from the coffee bar. The house was clean and convenient. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay!

This was the perfect location! Right next to a donut store for an easy breakfast. If you wanted a nice walk in you could technically walk to the square and not far from the lake front. So fun! Big rooms & beds were awesome too!

Very nice property. Well equipped. Very clean and orderly. The only problem was a noisy street, however, noise blocking devices worked well to mask the street traffic

Comfortable and clean

Our stay was perfect, this home provided us a quiet, clean, cool reprieve while in town for a memorial service for my grandmother. Comfortable beds, clean and welcoming environment, no complaints at all. The host was available if needed. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Granbury.

Wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful through the entire process. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, was quick to respond if we needed anything and was just a breath of fresh air to work with. The home was beautiful, clean and we loved that each room had a king sized bed! The backyard was so peaceful and the kids really enjoyed playing games and throwing the ball around while the adults talked over the fire. All around, great experience!

Lovely Home & Great Host

Came to Granbury with my wife and son to get away from our home after losing our daughter. We needed a small home thar would allow us to rest. This house did just that. We spent a great deal of time in the backyard listening to birds and watching the squirrels. The house had everything we needed and the host was amazing. She was very responsive and caring. We highly recommend this home. Also, it’s close to the square and walking trails, and if you have kids, a donut shop you can walk to.

Oak house off Granbury square

We arrived early afternoon and host allowed us to check in early which was fabulous. As we entered the house, we were thrilled at the decor as well as the cleanliness and the homeyness it made us all feel. It was so comfortable for 5 of us senior citizens. We had a blast. The host came by and gave us all the scoop of her sweet little town, from food to wine tasting to boutique shopping. We just had a winderful time. !!

Cozy and Comfortable

We all enjoyed our winter stay at the Oak House. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. Many little details made our stay easy and comfortable. Things like extra luggage racks, the electric fireplace and sound machines in each bedroom. The toys were a big hit with our granddaughter! We enjoyed smores around the firepit every evening and walked to the donut shop for breakfast every morning. Granbury is an adorable town with friendly people and great shopping and restaurants. We'll definitely return!

Host was fantastic!

This property was absolutely perfect for our needs. We were there for daughter’s wedding and this location was 5 minutes from her house so it was very convenient to help prepare for the wedding and do some of the projects at this location. Plenty of room. House was in fantastic shape and had everything needed for a lengthy stay. Back yard needed a little maintenance but you’d expect that in fall when leaves had fallen. House is on a fairly busy road. Some pickup trucks with loud exhaust driven by people trying to overcompensate for something. But it usually quieted down by bed time and wasn’t that bad that I would not stay there again. The host was fantastic. Clear communication and set my mind at ease about a few major concerns I had with the booking prior to arrival. She was very accommodating with us and seemed very willing to help with any requests. Once we did arrive everything was just perfect and had no reason to contact host for anything. The best host I have dealt with by far. Thank you very much.
