I stayed 30 miles away from my son's college graduation because there were no spots left in the college town. Staying right on the Historic Square with lots of restaurants, entertainment, and friendly people was a welcome surprise for me trip
Beautiful, roomy apartment right In Granbury Square. We walked to the musical at the Opera House, to lunch and dinner, music in the square and all the shops. Such a great location to enjoy the town. It’s beautifully decorated and the owners were attentive and so easy to work with. Couldn’t ask for a better weekend in Granbury!
We three ladies visited Granbury for a wedding weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every bed had multiple pillows to choose from, there was a stocked coffee bar, chocolates, lots of towels and amenities to many to list. We were blown away at the details and exceptional service. The location made it so easy to enjoy the city and go never love our car.
This was perfect for our ladies getaway. It was fantastic clean and very comfortable. Very charming rooms and decor. Being above the small boutique was fine and you cannot have a more convenient location to the square. The host was fantastically responsive and offered great restaurant recommendations.
You’ll hear “traffic” through the square but it’s not bad at all.
I highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!
There were five of us old friends celebrating our 70th birthdays. This place was perfect. We kept finding unusual decorative items and antiques. The location provided walking access to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. We're thinking about making this an annual event. The only down sides were the stairs, the street noise, and the lack of a kitchen. But we were properly warned, and these things didn't deter us from enjoying this precious gem.
This place is a historical palace. We felt like 1890 Royalty with the large ceilings, windows & decor. The location was perfect! We parked our car for 5 days and walked every where. Loft is in the heart of the square. The only downside was the street traffic. We got used to it after a few days & using the ear plugs provided does help. My hubby was not happy about the excessive admin & cleaning fees. This place is a must stay in Granbury TX.
This home is just beautiful, fascinating preserved antiques, actually comfortable sofas & beds :-) Well done! Will enthusiastically recommend.A few kind suggestions:Add a toaster oven to the kitchenette - allows guests to toast a bagel or reheat dining out leftovers in a more pleasant way than a microwave.Add blackout shades to the two bedrooms that do not have the velvet heavy drapes the green bedroom does. And for safety - move those Christmas lights to the lower rail. Multiple times I was unsteady and nearly had a painful fall because I could not keep my hand on the rail all the way down the steps.THANK you and look forward to another Christmas visit!
Sadly, I am not able to give this property a fully wonderful review that is deserves. The condo was AMAZING in regards to space, design and location. However, the fact that Granbury allows cruising on the square late in to the night, we are not able to provide a good review. The Harley Davidson riders at 11pm (and later) with blaring music, as well as cruisers with sub-woofers driving by made it impossible to go to sleep until it stopped later in the night. This is no fault of the owners and they have a truly beautiful property, but the walls were shaking at one point. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, if Granbury passed a sound ordinance for quiet hours after 10pm.
Loved our weekend visit to Granbury staying at your gorgeous place! Beautiful inside! We enjoyed being able to walk to everything so close…theater, shops, food, live music, etc.
This place is very cozy. We lived the decor and historical pictures and info.
Being able to stay in this historical place was really nice. It's right on the square where we walked to restaurants and shops. There happened to be a Veterans Day parade which we watched from outside and from the windows.
What a great spot for a girls weekend! The location was perfect - we could walk to great food and shopping. They did an amazing job on the renovations and the beds were super comfy. Our only tip: bring ear plugs!!!! The traffic on the square is constant and loud. We would definitely recommend this spot to others!!!
We came to Grandbury just to hang out with family and make memories with three generations. We would definitely come back and stay again! Location was perfect. The house is adorable and very comfortable. The stairs were a bit of a challenge for the older knees...but we managed! The host was very helpful if we had a need and quick to respond. We found all of the people around the square to be super friendly! We ate in a few places around the square and the food was very good. What a fun weekend!
We loved staying here! Right off historic Grandbury square; a great way to enjoy this quaint little town. Walking distance nearly everywhere, including the city beach park. The hosts do a great job of providing everything you need, including sound machines in the rooms— there is a fair amount of road noise and live music that can be heard from the apartment, but that just comes with staying on the square. Even our little ones didn’t have any trouble sleeping with the sound machines. Overall, great stay!
We were first time visitors to Granbury. When we stepped into the vrbo, it was exactly like the pictures except more breathtaking. I personally just wanted to stay in and admire the decor. The location was perfect except most of the stores were closed Monday. Also, after the first night we didn’t notice the noise from the street. We only used the ear plugs provided the first night. We will definitely stay there again. One of the prettiest VRBOs we’ve ever stayed at!
