"We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)"

"The staff were lovely and the location is great. Rooms (113) were good - clean but a bit on the tight side. Bathroom was good but desperately needed more hooks as no counter space (pedestal sink). It is a nice place but the stairs were a real pain so keep that in mind. We ended up on second floor after requesting the first floor. Staff helped with bags which was great. I wouldn’t have been able to carry up that many stairs. If you don’t mind stairs then this is a fun little place and good value."

"This was a wonderful stay! The owners are incredibly helpful and fast to respond. They have created a beautiful space in a convenient location of Halifax. It was so easy to walk around the town and I always felt safe! They also created a website with recommendations, suggestions and information which was so incredibly helpful! We tried a few spots they recommended and they were great. I highly recommend this place to everyone! If we come back to Halifax we will stay here again!!!!"

"The location is central to the harbour, close to food vendors as well as 2 restaurants. The property is quite clean. Our room did not get serviced over the 4 days we were there. The staff were all friendly and quite helpful. There is a patio garden as well as the rooftop view of the harbour. This is our second stay at this hotel."
