"Great location just minutes from Sault Ste Marie. The sunrise was amazing as it rose over the lake. Really appreciated the separate lounging areas, one up and one down. I read as my Mom slept upstairs Not far from. Crystal Falls and if you need chips check out the Hayden corner store.."

"We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. We used it as a base to explore the area between Sault Ste. Marie and Lake Superior Provincial Park. It was wonderful to wake up every morning and look out onto the bay. There were a couple of Sandhill Cranes that came by every now and then. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets every night. We brought our kayaks to explore a couple of bays and Stokely Creek. We highly recommend this cottage and all that it has to offer."

"We had a great time visiting slopes and streams home. We were there the first weekend of September and the weather was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the river which was just a few minutes walk through the woods from the house. We were hoping to catch fish but perhaps September is not ideal for fishing. The house itself was in great shape. The hot tub was clean and lovely. We enjoyed it thoroughly. There are no grocery stores nearby. Make sure you bring all of your groceries. We hiked around the chutes , which are some waterfalls about 15 minutes away. John was a great host. He was always timely and gracious.Overall, we had a great day at slopes and streams."

"The property was exactly as described and shown in the listing. Gene was a pleasure to deal with making the check in and check out process seamless. We have rented quite a number of places and there is inevitably something that the owner has not thought of but Gene has everything covered. The neighbourhood is quiet and the beach is lovely. It is about 5 minutes away from a restaurant to the south and about 10 minutes from a general store and LCBO. Conveniently close to Lake Superior Provincial Park."

"This house was great for a relaxing week on the lake. We had amazing views out the window and it was wonderful to be able to walk out the door and walk into the lake with a few steps. We enjoyed the paddle boats quite a bit. The public beach is a bit easier for swimming because it's sandy, but it's hard to beat the ease of walking into the water from the property. Our host went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed to enjoy our time. We were well stocked with firewood. We had a minor maintenance issue that she handled right away. It is not a fancy house, but we weren't looking for fancy. Being set up to enjoy the lake is key to this place. Even with guests in the other cabins, we had plenty of space to relax and play."
