"Location, cleanliness and extremely friendly and helpful staff. I had never booked at a highway motel, let alone one connected to a gas station so I was a little worried - but ended up loving my stay and wishing I could have stayed another night to enjoy the lake! The room has rustic cabin like design, and the beds were comfortable. The one issue I saw is that the bathroom had visible water damage and a bit of rust on the curtain rod in some places. I suspect had a lot to do with poor ventilation, but everything was clean and the water temperature and pressure were great, and that’s what mattered to us. There is a restaurant onsite as well as a gift shop. Great little spot overall. If you’re travelling down the 17, I definitely recommend it."

"My husband and I absolutely loved this place. Despite the age, the rooms are all nicely decorated and clean. It was a short walk to the beach where we could watch the sunset. What impressed us the most was how amazing and wonderful the staff was The food from the attached was really good and satisfying."

"What a beautiful place to share our family vacation! The views were wonderful, plenty of room, and a very welcoming host. I appreciated the warm reception leading up, making sure we had what we needed, and follow up throughout, even with minor issues. Overall, we enjoyed our time and look forward to going again!"
