At the intersection of Victoria Street / Vasagatan is one of Gothenburg's most remarkable houses. It was built in 1890 and designed by H Hedlund and Y Rasmussen on behalf of SA Hedlund family. On the facade there are several large frescoes made by Torvald Rasmussen. The hotel is in the middle of a massive building site. A bit far from anything even a coffee house. Room is gorgeous but doesn’t have a much needed table. Had to unpack onto the floor. Don’t think we’d stay there again.
