"Cute and stylish cottage (we were in the Milking Parlour), easy to find and good location. Cosy for a few days for a couple but the outside space a bit disappointing. Inside the cottage is pretty much exactly as per the photos. It's stylish and cleverly designed for multi-functional self-catering. Even has a dishwasher! It is situated across the road from a lovely park and duck pond, in a very quiet area. The perfect property for complete rest and relaxation. Everything you could need in the home (not sure it mentioned a freezer but it has one for your convenience. "Perfect location as walking distance to shops, restaurants in a beautiful quaint little village. It was also ideal that the beach was within walking distance. Opposite the house was a large Field with a little duck pond and a children’s Park so our little dogs loved going over there each morning for a run. The house had everything that was required for a holiday. It was clean and tidy and Jill was a perfect host."

"Property was tired and not as shown. Not clean. We had light bulbs that didn’t work, chipped crockery, a small tv with a router that kept the screen image blinking throughout programmes and then to cap it all a blocked sink in the downstairs toilet. We left before the end of our stay. Would never go back."

"We found the bungalow to be really clean and well equipped. It was so nice to have a decent sized, quiet garden to relax in on the days that we decided to just chill out. Lovely comfortable furniture in the large lounge. It is just a short walk into the village of East Wittering where there is a really good variety of shops and places to eat. The beach is literally a five minute stroll away, lovely. Overall we had a lovely break in a very comfortable property."

"Do NOT stay at this property - I would go as far to say that I would not stay at any property managed by Henry Adams. There was a large blob of blood, yes blood!, in the crockery drawer right by the plates. Crumbs in the fridge, black mould on the freezer door seal, cobwebs in every room, filthy dirty pole to open roof windows (covered in black dirt), upper floor toilet was leaking, the hairdryer was covered in dirt and the back of its filter was completely clogged and not safe to use, cracked...

"This House was ideal for my Wife's 70th birthday last weekend, all eighteen of our family agreed and it was a great success with everyone, however, The owner does need to improve the general condition of the decoration and some fittings, they have spent a fortune on a lovely new kitchen recently so they are seriously investing in the house, it would take a very small, by comparison, investment to put Bury Villa in TOP decorative order, which it needs in places, before the negative reviews start...

"This was our 3rd stay in the last month. We had room 155 for 3 nights. Very large room, but furnished very sparsely. No table And chairs or side chairs/sofa. Our other king rooms had a table and easy chair and were much smaller. Staff brought us an old dining room chair when we asked for additional seating. Missed opportunity to turn the room into a comfortable suite! Bathroom sink drain very slow. Concierge staff are what makes our stay most excellent and service by Luis in the bar outstanding. Another missed opportunity is not opening Leo's earlier in the morning for light bites, while everyone is waiting for their rooms. "
