"The room we had was spacious, clean and well stocked. The space seemed dated but everything worked well. We were not able to turn the temperature down below 19c which was on the warm side for us. Staff were lovely and the in hotel restaurant was decent, some lower priced options would have been nice. "

"A great location and great amenities. There during the horse races so it was very busy. the staff did a great job of making sure things worked efficiently. The proximity to the train and coach stations was a real plus."

"The area of town is nothing special, but we enjoyed watching rugby practice at the adjacent pitch. Two issues were the shower; the pressure was good but the design is poor. There was water all over the floor afterwards. The second issue was really poor service in the restaurant, both at dinner and at breakfast. Apparently, being short handed is an issue outside of the US as well. "
