These traditional houses are amazing and walk back in time to a simpler life yet very comfortable. Situated in a tiny village high in the hills behind Iraklion yet only 20 minutes drive into the city. We had a lovely time and stayed for 3 days.

Very nice hotel with great rooms and lovely amenities. We really enjoyed our three night stay at the Galaxy. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast the best we’ve had on our travels with so much fresh produce and warm food options. Good location with a short walk (15 min) to the old town, also the ‘hop on hop off’ bus stops straight outside the hotel.

The property was excellent. It was in a great location, with good restaurants and supermarkets around. We could walk to the port area about 1 km away. It was spacious, clean and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We really valued the washing machine and gym. The area was very quiet. The only issue we had was that the pool was heavily chlorinated and caused some skin irritation with my husband. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

Amazing hotel where the staff make you feel welcome the first second you walk in. It's a very calming relaxing hotel with the best of everything a hotel can provide. Special thankyou to Chrisanthi and Theodore for looking after us.

The property exceeded my expectations. I was a bit dubious of all the positive reviews, but it’s true. The place is spotless, the bathroom is so gorgeous I decided to give myself a little impromptu pamper night in! The tv is massive and the room is almost like a studio or serviced apartment, it is well equipped and immaculate. The cleaner who I met when I arrived early to drop my bags was so kind and Effie spoke to me on the phone and helped me organise a taxi for my early morning flight. Thank...
