Excellent place to stay for a few days working in Gore. Very friendly and helpful. Great bathroom/shower and comfortable bed. Only a 10 min walk to town.

The rooms are perfect, very clean, quite and private close to town but away from noise. i really liked the way i was welcomed into the property but then left alone. I totally recommend this property and would stay again. Thanks Anna

Fab in Gore
Very modern and clean accommodation with the most fabulous bathroom. Double glazing so very quiet. Single accommodation only so great for business trip.

Amazing!
This was one of the most comfortable and best stays we have ever had in a motel or hotel. Ana is wonderful. Check in process was the simplest I have ever experienced. The accommodation is high-end for a mid-range price. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Lovely accomodation in a unique way. So different than staying in a motel, but Ana is a beautiful hostess and I can only say it was a lovely experience, and I will certainly stay at Melody again. Heaps of NZ accommodation could learn from this model......cheers and best wishes......Martin

It is modern and very well presented. It is difficult to classify the type of accommodation as it is doesn't fit the normal NZ category of a hotel or a motel - but still nice.

The owners of this property are absolutely lovely. The rooms are always so clean and fresh and they have wonderful attention to detail. I will always stay here when in Gore for work.

Hi Anonymous, Thank you very much for your review. I am very sorry for your inconvenience. The reason we don't provide an iron and ironing board is that we had an incident where we had to replace new new carpet in one of our rooms because one guest burned the carpet with the iron. This is a new property with high quality carpets and furnishing that are very expensive to replace. We do, however, provide the contact details of a very good dry cleaning company located in the town centre for any cleaning and ironing necessities that our guests might have. Kind Regards, Ana

This is a lovely property, its layed out more like a hotel (think central hallway opening into your own little room. Once your in the room its really well appointed, clean, and quiet. Would recommend it, but just a note there is no ironing facility anywhere, which would have been an issue if you were needing to iron a shirt. Hopefully they will be getting some soon.

From the reception on arrival from Ana was amazing, the level of service was excellent. The facility is still very new, but very clean and kept to a high standard.

This is clearly a new motel. It was well decorated, very clean and most importantly very warm!! The double-glazed windows were luxurious while staying there in winter

Why stay in a $140 per night, cold 30 year old motel, when you can stay here for even less. As new, with warm insulated double glazed rooms. Spacious high class fully tiled bathroom (although a bathroom heater would go astray) No outside noise and close to town. The Devanti 2000W Electric Glass Panel Heater was such a delight that I have ordered two for my own house. The word is out, Melody Gore is for your next stay.
