Great place
It was a great property we had an amazing time. We were disappointed that we weren’t told all the boat ramps were closed and how low the lake was. Over all it was a great place. The house had everything we wanted. Great memories were made.

Wonderful getaway
Our family had a wonderful stay at Casa con Vista. The house was just as described and the views even more spectacular. We had a restful and relaxing time. We even caught a few fish although the lake level is very low due to extreme drought in Texas. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We appreciated the variety of k-cups for coffee! The bathrooms were awesome. House was very quiet and clean.. plenty of extra bedding. Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a lake getaway.

We stayed for Christmas and it was beautiful, the host even had us Christmas cookie waiting on arrival. It was very clean and spacious, and also looked just like the pictures. The view was AMAZING. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Fantastic Stay!
We loved this house and location! Layout of the house was perfect. Lake was not crowded at all and the water was perfect. Many amenities like kayaks and fishing rods and tackle. We played games outside on the patio table and inside on the beautiful dining table. Everything was top notch. We will be back. Sunsets were beautiful.

Birthday getaway from dallas
This spot was great! We wanted to get out of Dallas and get to water for my 30th and other friends’ birthdays that are within the same timeframe. Great amenities and space. Loved that everyone had their own bedrooms and full bathrooms. You can walk down to the dock and water easily. Just lookout for spiders and snakes - but that comes with the territory. Grill was great. You have propane and charcoal - just bring your own charcoal. As far as kitchen is concerned, you’ve got everything you need there (spices, dishes, plates, utensils, pans/pots, etc). Beautiful spot, would and will book again.

Awesome House
We were a group of work friends on a girls weekend. The house was exactly as pictured & described, but better. The rooms were spacious, light filled, & comfortable. The was fully stocked & very user friendly. The beds & linens were amazing!! SO comfortable & cozy!! The view of the lake was awesome. We used the patio to just sit around & talk into the late hours. The boat dock was great, and the owner provided kayaks, which were very much appreciated. Several ladies said that they were gonna book family/friends trips because this house was in a perfect location, with perfect views for a weekend get away. It was only an hour away from west Fort Worth & much less crowded than Possum Kingdom. Thank you, Ashley!! We had a great time!!

A great get away for five 50+year old ladies. It was a wonderful two night, two day get a way! The TV system could have used some instructions, for the one evening we watched. The paths to the boat dock and picnic table could have been a little smoother trail for older ladies, but we were able to manipulate it. This is being picky but it might help some older adults.

Perfect for us!
Thank you Ashley for sharing this amazing property. It was perfect for the 3 families that were staying there to play baseball at Rocker B. We got to enjoy the lake in between games and the mat with the kayaks definitely got some use out of them. The cookies were a great touch! Thanks again!

Relaxing
The rental was as described. Very relaxing and comfortable for the entire family. Every bedroom has their own bathroom and this is an added convenience. It was great to be able to dock our boat at the dock and cruise anytime we wanted during our stay. It was a great way to spend our Spring Break with the family. The only thing I would recommend is to arrive with your groceries or have your shopping done for you. This will save a few hours.

Had the best time!!! The house was amazing, the best views and the firepit was definitely used daily! Hung stockings, made brownies and smores. Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs! Played board games, made gingerbread houses, made Christmas cookies, painted arts and crafts. Fireplace inside the house was so cozy. Ashley was a great host! Would definitely come back again!

Breathtaking
Sitting on top of a hill, this gorgeous home is tucked away in beautiful area behind some windy roads. We all had a great time, enjoyed lovely views of the lake, relaxed inside and outside of the home, swam, cooked, watched movies, fished, kayaked, tried paddle boarding and made wonderful memories. Lost a few items in the lake, so be sure to secure everything with floatation devices. The cookies were a tasty surprise upon arrival and the beds were amazing! We will definitely come back here!

Wonderful Time
Our family had a wonderful time! The house was perfect. Very spacious, clean, lots of amenities and the homeowner is AMAZING! We had a few requests and she made sure our time there was very special. We went swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We fished, barbecued, and made s’mores over the fire pit. Lots of great memories. We would definitely love to go back.

Clean house with beautiful view.
Spent Memorial Day Weekend here. Huge living room and kitchen, dining area. Beautiful view of lake & sunset. There is no yard/grassy area. Covered slab large enough for 3 vehicles. Large laundry room with enough room for queen air mattress. Two small bedrooms, each with queen bed and bathroom with shower and toilet. Half bath in hall. Master bedroom downstairs with king bed and huge bathroom. Master bedroom upstairs, king bed with huge bathroom and balcony. Pros: Very Clean. Linens, Bath & Beach towels included. Two A/C units to keep temp just right. Plenty of hot water. Beautiful view. Air Mattresses provided. Very nice & well maintained dock. 2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, and water mat provided. Close to boat ramp. 3 in 1 grill provided. Good wifi. Private. Ashley answered all questions and handled any issues within minutes. She is amazing! Cons: Very narrow road and steep driveway. Trail to dock was very slippery due to recent rain. We will definitely plan to visit here again.

Weekend Fun/Disaster
The property is Fantastic. Our group of 10 had a wonderful time in this beautiful home for a long weekend. Everything we could possible need was provided by the owner. The pictures don't do this place justice. The house is so open and filled with light looking out on the lake. It rained all weekend long, but we were happy to stay indoors and play games. The website is incorrect as far as the bed situation goes. There are 2 queen beds downstairs and 1 king bed. Upstairs there is a king bed. We had to use 2 air mattresses to be able to sleep our group of 10 there are not enough beds to accommodate 10 people. HOWEVER.......one of our ladies had an accident while staying at the property. The house is built on top of a cliff and has a wonderful back porch. There is only one way to get off of the porch to go down to the dock. There was a bench on the ground next to the porch to be used as a step when getting off the porch. When our friend stepped on the bench it tipped over, and she fell and hit her head on the concrete of the porch. She had to be rushed to the hospital for stitches in her head! The legs on the bench that was to be used as a step, had rotted out, and that's what caused the fall! I called Ashley, the owner, and she seemed very concerned. However, she has not followed up with my friend to ask about her injuries or if she could reimburse her for her medical costs incurred by the fall. This is very disappointing, since it would have been the right thing to do. Also, another fall hazard on the property is one of the chairs on the back porch. It was broken and several of us nearly fell trying to use it.

Ashley is an amazing host! She is constandtly available and very flexible. and accommodating.
Our only negative comment came froman 11 year old who noticed that all of the overhead light fixtures were full of dead bugs as were the outsides of the windows. Maybe time for a spring cleaning.

So relaxing!
Windy weather did not let us get our boat out while we were here, but this house still made for a very relaxing stay! The kitchen was well stocked and had good, brand name cookware (and I like to cook!), beds were comfy, kayaks were fun (once the wind died down a bit!), and we appreciated the welcoming touches like special soaps and a snack basket. Well come and stay again when it’s warmer! Love this beautiful home!

Very nice home with beautiful view
We had a great time in Feb 2021. We had 3 families with kids ages ranging from 2-13. The big kids had fun kayaking (even though it was super cold), everyone enjoyed fishing off the boat dock, the kitchen was well stocked & the beds were comfy. The VRBO listed 2 queens & showed a pic of bunk beds, but there weren't any bunkbeds. It's 4 bedrooms- 2 kings & 2 queens. There are air mattresses in a closet but the only area with enough floor space to use 1 would be in the living room or maybe in the upstairs master. The owner was super responsive & we had no problems during our stay. We all said we want to book there again this summer when we can bring a boat.

Absolutely fabulous family fun!
Five nights were spent in this incredible lake house by my husband and I with our three adult sons/their spouses and our newborn granddaughter. It exceeded our wildest expectations for rest and relaxation! Four bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths provided for everyone's comfort; each couple had a king or queen size (very comfortable!) bed to enjoy. Not too many rentals out there offer that luxury. And the bathtubs--oh my!! Two kayaks, a paddle board, fishing poles, and the dock and lily pad on the water provided enough activity to satisfy everyone's need to "do" something. The fire pit on the deck was a sunset-watching evening gathering spot each night til the wee hours of the morning. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc., that allowed us to cook all of our meals there without a problem--each couple in our family was responsible for providing at least one evening meal, which made for quite an eating extravaganza. We celebrated 2 birthdays, and owner Ashley helped make our stay amazing!! We try to do a full family getaway like this generally at least once a year--we jokingly call it "FFF" (Forced Family Fun), but for this stay in particular we certainly considered it to be Fabulous Family Fun! We look forward to returning!

Yes, the view from the main room and the deck is spectacular and relaxing, but the king bed in the lower master BR is what really makes us want to go back. Sooooo comfortable! Our kids slept well too so I'm guessing that those beds were comfortable as well. A lot of rental units have great views, water access, etc. but the beds get overlooked and you can't wait to leave and get back to your own bed. Not the case at Casa con Vista! The rest of the house was well supplied with everything we needed. Thanks Ashley!

Wonderful property situated on the lake
Casa Con Vista is a terrific house situated on the lake with amazing views. The home is new and well furnished and a bathroom with every bedroom which is rare. Covered parking for 3 cars. The new dock is great for fishing or jumping into the lake and floating on the lilly pad while the picnic pavilion provides a place to walk into the water with floats and kayak. Highly recommend!

Great, quick getaway!
This home was absolutely beautiful with great views of the lake. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The dock with the float pad is where we spent most of our time and it was perfect. The owner was very responsive if I ever had any questions. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect family escape
We brought our three kids and a few of their friends for a short lake trip. The property was roomy and had great amenities. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which with teenagers was terrific. The boat dock was the perfect hangout. We cooked out, ate s’mores and watched movies and when I needed a little peace and quiet I just retreated to the soaking tub and read a book. Ashley was wonderful. We are already planning another trip to return.

We loved this lake house and will be back!
The house and property are just beautiful! The views are amazing. It's perfect for swimming (bring water shoes if you have them), relaxing on the lily pad, or kayaking. The beds were all super comfortable and the owner was responded to every question we had within minutes. My daughter ended up leaving her favorite stuffed animal behind and didn't realize it until the next day. When I messaged the owner, she found it and is mailing it back to so. So, so kind! Again, we loved this place and will be back. Highly recommend.

Hidden Gem!
Because our house renovation was not complete, we booked this house at the last minute for our annual reunion with friends. Wow, were we surprised! Casa Con Vista is an amazing place in an area just west of the DFW metroplex of which most people are unaware. Located on a point overlooking the main body of Lake Palo Pinto, we enjoyed fantastic sunsets, beautiful fall foliage, and a dazzling lightning display associated with a line of evening thunderstorms. The living room with large picture windows overlooks the lake. The patio is perfect for making s’mores in the firepit. The kitchen and dining room easily accommodated our group of eight. Ashley, you have a hidden gem – we are frequent VRBO renters and your rental far exceeded our expectations!
