"Pro: A beautiful historic building with a grand stair entrance and sky lights. Some rooms even have bed canopies. Comfortable bed, warm water and heating that you can adjust not much to complain about. Loved the contactless check in. Private showers, linen and towels included as well as free parking. Access to a shared full kitchen.
Con: The building is beautiful but old and in need of some upkeep. It is a bit disheartening to see that some of the fixes had a strong DIY feel. "

"A lovely room. The fruit at breakfast was a great treat; you don’t see much of it in a restaurant. The reason to stay here is Kim, the lady who runs the place. Such a lovely person. She even ran us over to our whisky tour when the town taxi was not available "

"A top property to plan into any highland trip, especially the NC500.
Faultless no, but any issue was addressed immediately and in a professional manner"
"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fantastic cottage, ideally situated for exploring the area and beyond. Very clean and well equipt, very comfortable bed. Within about one mile of Dunrobin Castle and just across the road to the beach. We also drove to visit The Castle of Mey and John O’Groats. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. "
A 3-bedroom beach front house with spectacular views across the Dornoch First.
10/10 Excellent
"The house is absolutely wonderful is in a great location and is well appointed. Has everything you need for light cooking. All of the bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed as well. The house is on the beach with a wonderful two-level grass yard for kids to play. It is fenced so offers privacy and safety. It is right on the main Street of Golspie so shops restaurants and groceries are just steps away. It is only a 5-minute drive to Dunrobin Castle. It is also in an easy driving distance to Dornoch and to the Glenmorangie distillery. I highly recommend this property. We did however have a very difficult time finding it based on the instructions we were provided by the rental agent. Rental agent also did not respond to our message asking for assistance. Fortunately the people who live there were incredibly kind and pointed out where the property was and even offered to walk us to it. "
"The room was comfortable and a large comfy bed, nice en suite, the food was excellent big enough portions. Nice comfy settees in lounge . The manager was very pleasant and always had time for a chat. Would definitely stay here again . "
