"Amazing views of the lake!!! Beautiful lobby, viewing and sitting area in main lodge. Friendly respectful and helpful staff. Caitlin was especially sweet. Room was clean and comfy. Surprised and a bit disappointed there was no in-room microwave and realized too late in the evening we forgot to ask where the ice machine was while we were checking in. I couldn’t find a floor map in the room to indicate its location. Lovely walking trails on property. Will return."

"The unit was more than I expected. The cabin was furnished with comfortable seating indoors, a full kitchen, TV, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with a hot shower, and more. I will definitely be booking this place again for another getaway."

"The young man at the front desk was awesome. I asked for a handicap rooms d he took me to look at two of them. The only thing that I found strange is that the bed was very close to the floor. Like about 12 inches which is hard for someone with disabilities to get out of."

"Motel is close to the interstate and has a bar and grill next door. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Lobby and room were clean and neat. The hallway to the room had a musty mildew smell to it. Shower pressure was adequate but weak. TV and Air conditioning were both working well."

"My husband and kids stayed for one night at this motel. When we checked in, they realized that they did not have a double bed room ready for us, because they had an unexpected group of people purchase a block of rooms the same night. However, the owner was extremely apologetic and made things right. They quickly cleaned a double bed room for us and ensured there were extra amenities including a coffee maker with supplies and a breakfast basket. Honestly, the room was better than some hotels that I've stayed at before. The room was very clean and had a mini fridge, microwave, and nice mattresses. It seemed like the room had been recently renovated because the flooring, paint, and other details were in excellent condition. We would for sure stay again and recommend! PS - when looking at reviews online for motels/hotels, be sure to use a site that is connected to actual stay. My understanding is that anyone can leave a review on sites like Google, so the reviewer may not have actually stayed at the location."
