My husband and I stayed at 1 Holyrood when we attended a wedding on the Isle of Wight. It was in a great location - only a short walk from the shopping precinct. The room was very clean and tidy, and most importantly, warm, as it was winter. The inclusive breakfast was a delicious way to start the day, including cereals, yoghurt and cooked meals. The staff offered happy, friendly service. Ideal for couples and business travellers.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Wight. One double room one single. Overall it is as advertised the pool is very nice size. The double room was a nice size, the bathrooms are on the small side the width of the bath room is as wide as the shower tray so very narrow, but we managed ok. rest of room is fine. Single room had slightly bigger bath room. Very clean and tidy and staff very helpful, breakfast very big ,large selection. I would stay here again no issues'

Wonderful property with great parking right in centre of Shanklin. Breakfast was fantastic. Very comfortable and a great base for looking around.

The beautiful setting, the ambience and the parking - a comfortable hotel.

We enjoyed the hotel views. and walks, sea just over the road. My only draw back was I had not hired a car for this leg of my trip and taxi to the other side of the island was expensive also main ferry is to the far side my. error but a quick heads. up to anyone else going. from o/s
