"Lots of positives and some negatives. In short I would go again. To expand a little... the complex and the layout are very good. It's a very nicely styled hotel. Compliments to the room cleaning staff, the restaurant staff, the bar staff (other than a bit of a grumpy guy called Omar at the pool bar) and compliments too to the entertainment team (though my kids didn't do much with them). All those guys were great. Reception staff were hit and miss. The luggage handler guys were imposing and controlling - I absolutely hated having my room key taken away from me while two luggage handlers escorts me to my room. Felt like a total tip-grab attempt. Food we maybe a 3.5 - 4 starts out of 5. Some bits were excellent, and other bits less so. There was always a plentiful supply though. I don't think you can expect too much out of an all-inclusive so for me this was fine - but my wife notes that we had better in Turkey. Now to my main gripe... it is absolutely unacceptable for a so-called 5* hotel to downgrade your room on arrival without any prior notification and then claim that you cannot have the room type you booked because we are full. You quite simply don't over-allocate. We got put into a double room which then had 2x extra temporary single beds squeezed in. When people book their holidays they pay careful attention to the room they choose and the extra money they are willing to pay for it - so downgrading you (and worse finding this out at 11pm with 2x small kids) was poor"

"Room was nice, with good air con, comfy bed & good shower. However our sheets werent changed at all during an 11 night stay. Food was generally good and staff were very friendly. The main (one heated) pool was nice but got very busy. Lots of aqua aerobics, zumba, yoga etc by the pool, which was average. Bit of a faff having to get money out of a cash point for a deposit, to trade in for cards at reception, to trade in for pool towels - we've not come across this system before.. and £50 for 4 towels was a bit steep, they prob cost the hotel a few quid each. Spa treatments, ice creams, 'premium' drinks - any extras were above uk prices. Overall was a nice relaxed family break, but the hotel was a bit run down - could do with some maintenance."

"The White Camel is a well appointed resort where guests can participate in a number of activities including camel rides. Massages, ATV/dune buggy rides, yoga and more. There are also beautiful infinity pools available at the resort. While my family assumed the weather would be warmer we were able to fill our visit with a number of insight experiences which made our stay well worth the visit!"

"Honest review, family of 5 kids 10 and under. Family room. Room: Broken toilet seat, ants in room, housekeeping done twice in 5 days. After housekeeping, room smelt of damp mop. Phone broken, just didnt work. Lift is dangerous, door closes. The single beds were extremely uncomfortable especially for children. Only water provided and hardly any tea and coffee. Cleaners would clean the staires and corridals in late morning with no signage, child had slipped. Reception knew of issues, No resolution. Swimming pool : only kids swimming pool was warm the Adjacent aquapark pools were freezing, unable to use even at 30 degrees temperature. There were lots of insects in the pool.The indoor pool came with a cost of 150dh for each person. Gym: Good facility, clean lot's of equipments. All inclusive: Not all inclusive, I dont drink anyways however can drinks were not included. The mocktails were just kids juice with syrup. It was awful. Nothing spectacular. There were no snack bars unless you paid. Only set times available to eat. Nothing else close by to even buy snacks. There was always an extra cost even for ice cream. Le Fez restaurant: lovely food, 1 visit for stays over 3 days. Food was great, staff were lovely. La Torque: Waiter was lovely and attentive, food was good. Entertainment for kids: found nothing other than Mickey for 30 mins in the evening twice. Otherwise terrible nothing at all or not great for a resort that is 5*. I won't be returning unfortunately. "Staff cannot do enough to ensure comfort and calm. Sourced onwards taxi quote and drew me a map to local shop! Room absolutely spotless - fantastic nights sleep. Prepared a tasty omelette when my incoming friend’s plane was delayed and she reached hotel later than expected. Gorgeous sofas and marquetry in reception area."

"Reception staff including Moussa were very helpful. Restaurant service depended on server. Pool bar service was very slow. Property location and rooms were spectacular. "

"Stunning boutique hotel with attentive staff and a delicious French restaurant. The grounds are gorgeous and the main pool is the longest and most picturesque I have ever seen. Spectacular!"
