Beautiful Weekend
We came in for the marathon and wanted to stay closer to the water and away from the city to try something different. This house was absolutely perfect for a family. With 4 bedrooms, a beautiful kitchen with everything you need, and a view of the Ocean you couldn't ask for anything better. The host Meakin was extremely accessible and answered all of our questions.

Perfect for families
The house was exactly what our family needed. I went on this trip with my two young children and husband and we had the most amazing experience. The house is beautiful and easily sleeps a family with little ones. The views are spectacular and we had the best time exploring the outdoors with the kayaks. This will be a trip that we will all remember and cherish for a long time.

Simply Wonderful! One of the Best!
Great house; great location. Our week-long stay to visit family over Christmas was almost perfect. We are particular about the properties we select and this home did not disappoint. The location was convenient with a lovely view. We especially enjoyed taking walks throughout the property and along the shoreline. The home was spacious and had a great layout. It was immaculate and exactly as described in the listing. Beds and furniture were clean and comfortable. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Amazing Location and Spacious Accommodations
We rented this property for our family for our son's wedding. You have a view of the water and the sunlight streams in. It is absolutely beautiful. There is a large outdoor deck, perfect for the outside living we love. The space was perfect for our two families plus my mom. We didn't get a chance to use all the extras (kayaks, tennis courts, etc.), but we would love to come back sometime and do so. Meakin was very responsive to the few requests we had. We definitely recommend this beautiful spot!

Gorgeous Views, Lovely Home
We were so happy to find this property for 7 of us to stay in while visiting Gloucester for a wedding! The view of Ipswich Bay from the great room was fantastic, and we loved the open floor plan for the kitchen/dining/great room so we could all hang out together. The 3 full bathrooms were excellent and much needed for 7 adults to get ready to attend a wedding. Highly recommended for those visiting Gloucester, MA in the future!

Great house for anyone looking for easy beach access, gorgeous sunset views. Comfortable outdoor porch, great for relaxing and outdoor meals. Kayaks and water toys were a big hit with our kids and very easy to launch from the private beach. Thanks to the host for sharing this family property.

Excellent Beach house
Haze Gray was a perfect house for our family of active adults and small children. The private beach is less than a 5 min walk with small waves and great sand castle- building space. Lovely walking paths nearby with magnificent views. Sunset views from the deck were a treat. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well appointed with all tools for cooking and grilling. Loved it!

This property was exactly as shown! Clean, spacious, well-equipped, and an amazing location for families! We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The house is situated a short walk from beaches and a shirt drive to town where there are great restaurants, shopping, and sights to see! The house has everything you need for a comfortable and easy stay. We will definitely be back!

Family Trip
Haze Gray is a spacious and well appointed home. We were a party of 8 and had ample room. Evenings were spent enjoying the gorgeous sunsets and listening to the bull frogs from the fresh water pond. Our older boys were thrilled to have bunk beds and there were two pack and plays and a high chair seat that were very handy to have with our youngest. We loved taking the kayaks out and exploring the two private beaches that were just yards from the house. This was a perfect retreat for our family. Thank you for sharing Haze Gray! We hope to return next year!

Winter stay on the NorthShore
We spent 16 nights in December at this wonderful property. The layout and functionality are ideal for larger groups. We were celebrating our first grandson with extended family members from NC, AZ and Scotland and this home was the perfect spot. Plenty of room to be together or get away on your own. Little things like the heating system and hot water ran perfectly. Kitchen had all the appliances/dish & drink wear needed and was very functional. Location in Gloucester MA also a big plus! We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful views of ocean from both inside and outside
We rented for the week with our friends. The check in/out process was seemless. The house is well appointed and laid out nicely. The views were breathtaking from all rooms in the house as well as the porch. We spent mornings and evenings on the porch. Next time we will use the paddle boards on the water.

Relaxing and beautiful
We rented this house for 2 weeks and would stay for 2 more if we could! The house is only a couple of years old, very pretty and comfortable and just like the photos. We sat on the deck watching the view (and stunning sunsets!), having drinks and barbecues, and went to the beach every day, and explored the coastline in kayaks. Everything is convenient, so anyone in our group could go to the beach without having to coordinate with others, able to come back to the house to get a snack, etc. We have rented many houses over the years, and this is the first one I really want to come back to!

Haze Grey came as advertised. Ocean views in a quiet setting. We had plenty of room for two couples and one in-law. With two master suites there was sufficient privacy and bathrooms for all including the 1/2 bath just off the main living area so even guests, if any, could be accommodated. Thoughtfully laid out floor plan.

Delightful property and estate
We loved our stay here. It was a long weekend in-state getaway on a very warm weekend to celebrate my husband's retirement. Some in our small group did remote work with the water and sunset as a backdrop. Although we've lived in MA for decades we've never explored this area in depth. We loved everything about it. The house was clean and comfortable and new. The kitchen was very large. The beds were comfortable. The views, spectacular. The check-in process and communication with the owner was simple and prompt. It was the perfect pandemic trip for us. We highly recommend this house. We loved climbing on the rocks and exploring the property. We had a picnic lunch down by the water. We loved exploring Halibut Point SP just minutes down the road. We went to Gloucester and Coolidge Reservation. Spent a day at the Wildlife Refuge on Plum Island. Just so much to do on the property and nearby.

A really special place
Just a fantastic house, great views, well equipped with a great owner. Loved taking the kids to the beach and exploring the whole area. There’s a perfect sledding hill next to the house in winter. Every detail is well thought out, Internet was fast as heck, beds super comfy, showers robust. Even the stroll to the dumpster felt special - seriously. Hope we are able to come back at some point!

Beautiful home, fantastic stay. Location was perfect - easy access to beautiful water, fun rocks to climb and explore, and to many interesting local sights. We stayed in winter, and even in winter and the pandemic, we enjoyed beautiful hiking, outside historic trails, exploring outside in local towns etc. Home was gorgeous, cozy, lots of light, well outfitted. Owner very helpful and easy to communicate with. Would stay there again for sure.

Absolutely Perfect
Just what we needed after months of isolating at home! Very private/safe area in terms of social distancing. The two cove beaches never had more than one other family on them the entire time we were there. Lots of rocks to climb on, which kept our toddlers busy! House was spotless and fit all of our needs. So close to the surrounding areas in which we wanted to explore. All in all a fantastic hidden treasure. We will be back!

Perfect family vacation spot
The house was spacious and clean, plenty of space and bathrooms for everyone. Walking distance to a lovely private beach with soft white sand, rocks to climb on and a raft to swim out to. The beach is in a cove so protected from the waves and perfect for kids and water activities- kayaks and paddle boards included in the rental! And we were able to leave our stuff at the beach so you didn’t have to carry everything back and forth which was a huge plus. Beautiful sunset views from the front deck of the house and from the fire pit up on the hill above the beach. Our summer week here, with kids (ages 1-8), was absolutely perfect and happy to say relaxing! Everything with the house was easy and the host was great. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house in Gloucester!
We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful location. The house is large and the open living/dining/kitchen is amazing. We gathered with our 94 year-old grandmother and had a great time cooking, eating at the large table, and sitting on the deck. Four bedrooms and brand-new bathrooms made everyone comfortable. And we loved our quiet walks down to the beach, especially near sunset. Thank you for sharing this delightful house!

Beautiful home with water views
My father, four sisters and I spent a wonderful week at Haze Gray house! The house is better than the pictures portray, is the best equipped house that I’ve rented and the sights and sounds outside the windows (buoy bell, birds and even waves) were peaceful and relaxing. While the weather wasn’t totally cooperative, it didn’t matter because the house was spacious, comfortable and relaxing. There is so much to do in the area - beautiful walks, great restaurants (for when we didn’t cook in the beautiful kitchen), good shopping, interesting history to the area and at least one good museum (Cape Ann). Meakin was incredibly responsive and helpful. While the entry and exit to the house was a bit challenging for my elderly father once we got him to the main floor, it was perfect.

Beautiful Home
This home was beautiful and perfect for our family. We had four adult couples and one three month old little girl. A home with four bedrooms, three with full baths, is hard to find. This home included a master bedroom on the main level which worked well for the great grandparents of the little girl. The open area with the kitchen, dining room, and living area worked incredibly well for us to spend much quality time together. While the weather didn't allow us to spend much time on the large deck, it did allow for spectacular views of the ocean. We also enjoyed walking down to a sandy beach that I can just imagine is perfect when the temperatures are warmer. The house is well equipped in the kitchen and throughout. Finally, the owner was not only helpful prior to the stay but also took the time to respond in detail to an email afterward.

Beautiful amazing home, great for families.
Very clean, beautiful home. Partial views from the deck have the most amazing sunsets. Kitchen has everything we needed. Bonus paddle boards and kid kayaks. 5 min walk to low tide and high tide PRIVATE beaches *high tide beach a small dock to jump off. Two family spaces upstairs and downstairs are nice in case you have husband who needs to watch the football game while your kids need cartoons during rain. Downstairs bathroom has a bath in case you have small kids. Outdoor shower had warm water which was a nice suprise! Pack n play and high chairs also nice touch. Parking for 3 cars. Great for families. Close to explore rockport and downtown gloucester. Even though it rained, we had a great time given the house was so nice. Would recommend packing paper good like toliet paper and paper towels if staying for the week. Couldn't ask for a better host, always responsive to questions. and again very very clean!

Perfect for families!
This home was thoughtfully designed to make the joy of summer living so very easy! Simple and tastefully done, wonderful working kitchen with everything necessary. Comfortable beds, bathrooms for each room a real plus! Overcast days are great for exploring the sea life and nature things. The owners did a great job and they were responsive and nice about everything! Our families want to do it again! Perfect in everyway!
