"Stayed in the Juliet room. The place is okay. Penny grocery store just down the street was nice. But the kitchen is kinda gross and smelly. The bathroom is fairly clean. The bed is worn out from having a single person sleep on it so you both roll into the middle which sucks. Friendly host. It's passable but I wouldn't recommend to my friends. "

"We had an amazing time staying at the water tower for two nights! Such a quaint quiet neighborhood. The location was great for us to venture to Belgium one day and up to Cologne on the second. So many details to list - fresh eggs from the chickens who live on the property, a stunning garden and the most pleasant hosts."

"We enjoyed our stay there. Was convenient to shops/restaurants and public transport. Clean and had everything we needed. Like other apartment locations, you can occasionally hear other residents opening/closing doors and talking, sometimes during the night, but we generally slept well - one of us on sofa and the other up in the loft. Internet was mostly reliable. Would stay there again.."

"Lovely sized property, plenty of room for a small family. It has all the basics you need with comfy beds, which is important! On arrival it was obviously cleaned and looked after. Perfect location close to transport and restaurants without being too noisy. It was warm in the bedrooms but fans were provided. They were needed. We liked the decor in the apartment and there was ample storage for a week. Only thing i would add is some international apps on the tv. Netflix or prime would have been...

"Friendly and helpful host. Easy to check in and out. A lovely, quiet place within 25 minute walk of Phantasialand. Silvia was very friendly and the house was absolutely perfect for our needs. If we come back to Phantasialand we will definitely stay again. It truly felt like a home from home, with some lovely thoughtful extras."

"Der Aufenthalt war super. Eine abendliche Ankunft hat überhaupt kein Problem dargestellt. Die Kommunikation war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Wohnung ist frisch renoviert, zumindest riecht sie so. 😊 Einzig die Umgebung hat uns etwas abgeschreckt, da dieWohnung in einem von vielen Wohnhausblocks liegt. "This was my first time to Cologne and this apartment was absolutely amazing. Located in what I would say was the most beautiful part of Cologne, it is quiet and located close to the Rhein, supermarkets, restaurants, transit. It was very easy to get to where I wanted to go from this location. The host was also incredible and was quick to answer any questions I had and fix any issues. It was absolutely perfect for my 5 week stay and I would definitely stay here again when I return."

Be advised, the owner, Anna Maria Becker, is extremely rude and will get very nasty real quick if you call her on that. More on this below. The bed is not really a bed.
