"Beautiful location on a quiet country track, stunning big garden . Cottage was the perfect size for us and our 3 children . Spotlessly clean with everything in the cupboards you could ever need. Perfectly located for Edinburgh, The kelpies , Stirling castle etc. We loved our stay ,the owners were friendly and helpful and we got complimentary Scottish shortbread which was delicious."

"Hollybank was clean, comfortable, quiet and we had an excellent stay. The welcome scones and eggs were greatly appreciated and it was easy to find and get in. We were looking for a home from home for ourselves and our dog whilst we had some work done on our house and Hollybank was perfect for that. We found everything we needed in the house and the local dog walks are wonderful. Thanks!"

"Just had a three night stay here and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. A good location for visiting Edinburgh and Stirling although plenty to do in the local area as well. The host Lorna was very close by and the local pub being next door also helped. Would highly recommend and will visit again for sure. "

"Ideal location with charming village area nearby. Easy walk to local pub and to the water. Flat was spacious and well equipped; but could have used a bit more maintenance and some air freshener (near the sea, so a bit of a damp, musty smell). It was a bit farther from central Edinburg (~40 min) than I had expected; but the quaint village feel of the area was well worth the few extra minutes drive. All in all a nice place to support local sight seeing and day trips."

"Our party was two married couples all about 60 years old staying one night. We found the space clean, well stocked with a small grocery store close by. The owner was easy to communicate with and provided excellent information. Renters do need to be aware of the loft bedroom access via pull down ladder as some might find it challenging. However, we did not and would stay there again."
