"The room is clean and an ideal base to explore the Kelpies which was the sole reason for the trip - I came on the train and bus and then walked through the industrial estate to get to the hotel - and then it was a ten min walk from there for the Kelpies - Staff great and room basic but clean and comfortable - other than a vending machine no other food options which is worth bearing in mind, if like me you are coming on public transport - on the Sunday morning it was difficult to get an Uber to station so chose instead to walk back up the road to catch a bus into Falkirk - I arrived about 6pm and left again around 10am but it totally did what I needed it to do"

"Service was lacking in the restaurant. One or two of the front desk young girls was amazing. Overall decent value for the price but don’t expect fast service. Reserve for the restaurant as they deny service at will"
