"I had a two night stay at Glenbrittle while visiting Isle of Skye. The room was comfy enough (a little cramped for ten people), the bathrooms were nice and very clean, the common areas were well stocked and cozy. There's also a great waterfall right across the road from the hostel and plenty of sheep and lambs to watch in the evenings. "

"This is a quiet, rural location near the ocean and accessed via single track. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. Comfy bed. Breakfasts were varied and quite good. The hosts are super. You'll have to drive to find dining options but there are many within a 15-minute drive. "

"The location was excellent but finding the property was hard. A small flag at the driveway entrance would help a lot. We loved sitting out at the fire pit in the evening the view is fantastic, and the ambiance memorable. The Aga stove needs to be on if you are going to cook, but does give off a lot of heat. "The hotel was so cozy and comfortable. Very nicely decorated and great beds and chairs in the rooms. Everything was spotless. The staff were really accommodating despite all of our off the wall requests. So much care is put into the food, it would fit in easily with any upscale New York City cafe. "
