"Tidy, modern amenities and comfortable house with a gorgeous view. Our family enjoyed our stay - especially the comfortable beds. It was a good base for us to visit family in the area. We were able to park in the car port and navigate the steep driveway in a large family car. Had the feeling of a nice hotel with lots more space."

"Comfortable and spacious, close to the town centre and facilities such as Countdown and restaurants. Was sent the address after we had started our trip and had to chase the manager for it. Apparently there was a glitch in the system. Perhaps because the bathroom is new, (with a great tub!), there weren't any towel rails or a shower basket/shelves (found a broken one under the sink)."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The house has everything needed and is very nicely decorated and well-kept, clean and comfortable. The road noise from early morning traffic may not be to the liking of some, but reminds us of wake up time. The host was very helpful to make sure we knew how to use the very modern induction hob and oven. The people we met were a delight, very friendly and helpful. It was an ideal spot to drive around the vicinity and tour."

"Loved the view.Would stay again for sure. Not sure you are aware the side cupboards in the bathroom are broken,just looking at them you would think they are ok, but as soon as you open the whole lot collapses. And just one other comment your cleaners need to lift the bottom of shower drain, it was disgusting as it was filled with black long hair and a little blocked. We did clean it for you. In saying this we would definitely be back."

"It was wonderful to have a whole bungalow to ourselves, in such a quiet area, yet only a couple of minutes drive into fascinating Oamaru (where there's plenty of free parking). The beds were very comfortable, a lovely spacious lounge, with 2 large sofas, and it was good to be able to cook our own meals in a proper kitchen, rather than having to eat out each night. In short, it felt like home! Fred couldn't have been more helpful and kept in prompt contact for all our needs. "

"We had our daughter's wedding in Oamaru. This house was perfect for us to stay in along with our other daughter, son-in-law, 3 grandsons and for one night our two grand- daughters as well. Only issue was some of the power points weren't working but I believe these have since been fixed. Beds were super comfy."
